PAVEL RAMÍK SUPERVISOR BRNO 2010 ABSTRAKT Obsahem bakalářské práce je přehled současného stavu techniky používané v automobilových soutěžích se zaměřením na seriál WRC. Práce je rozdělena do pěti částí. V první části jsou uvedeny soudobé automobilové soutěže a federace FIA. Druhá část je zaměřená na specifikaci vozů WRC. Třetí část seznamuje se způsobem organizace šampionátu WRC. Jsou představeny posádky se svými týmy, jejich výsledky v šampionátu a v poháru konstruktérů. Největší pozornost je věnována čtvrté a páté části, které jsou zaměřeny na soudobou techniku používanou ve WRC a vývojové trendy v této oblasti. Jsou zde uvedeny způsoby virtuálního navrhování, počítačové simulace a testování.V závěru práce jsou zmíněny příklady vývoje vozů WRC a řešení převzaté na sériové vozy z techniky WRC. Klíčová slova: Rallye, FIA, WRC, karoserie, podvozek, tlumič, motor, převodovka, diferenciál, brzda, pneumatika, testování, rekuperace ABSTRACT The content of the bachelor thesis is an overview of the current condition of technics used in the car racing competitions focused on the WRC serial. The thesis is diveded into five parts. The first part introduces the contemporary car competitions and FIA federation. The second part is focused on specification of the WRC cars. The third part familiarizes with the organization process of the WRC championship. There are introduced crews with their teams and their results in the constructor cup.

Almost the entire World Rally Hall of Fame, from birth to today, gathers for the tribute to the great Scottish driver, ten years after his death Republic of San Marino. All together, at Rallylegend next October 21st and 22nd: Walter Rohrl, Ari Vatanen, Hannu Mikkola, Stig Blomqvist, Timo Salonen, Juha Kankkunen, Miki Biasion, Didier Auriol, Tommi Makinen, Marcus Gronholm, Petter Solberg, Sebastien Loeb and Sebastien Ogier, with Sandro Munari and Markku Alen, winners of the FIA Driver Cups 1977 and 1978, that later became the World Rally Drivers since 1979. Fifteen World Rally Champions, for a total of thirty-four world drivers titles - almost all the history of the World Championship series - will gather in the Republic of San Marino - for two days World Rally Capital - for the "Colin Mc Rae Tribute", Rallylegend's tribute to the memory of the great Scottish champion, ten years after his premature and tragic disappearance.     1968 − 1984 Colin: the busy baby by Margaret McRae Colin Steele McRae was born on August 5, 1968. It was a Monday. He was born in the William Smellie Maternity Hospital in Lanark. And he was a much-wanted child – a first grandchild for my parents, however Jim’s mum and dad already had two. It’s from Jim’s mum that Colin took the name Steele – it was her maiden name. We were living in Blackwood, about five miles from Lanark, in those days. And it was to the house in Vere Road, Blackwood that we would have taken Colin home – if we hadn’t still been renovating the cottage at the time. Instead, we went and stayed with my parents for two or three weeks while we finished the work on the house. This was actually quite a God-send as my dad wasn’t feeling too well at the time and having a newborn baby in the house really took his mind off things. He spent all of his time, just focused on the baby. Right from the off, Colin was a busy baby and, unfortunately for us, not a baby to whom sleep came easily or quickly. I think he stayed in our room for about seven weeks, before we knew the time had come for him to go into his own room. I don’t think Colin really slept through the night completely for about two years. Alister, his younger brother, was something of a revelation by comparison and slept really quickly. It’s fair to say, Colin wasn’t an easy baby.

Our new car, the Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC, was a winning package on every surface and kept audiences transfixed on a championship battle that went all the way to the penultimate round… In 2017, we also branched out with our Customer Racing initiatives and welcomed a new circuit racer to our car line- up.     2021 MEDIA GUIDE Arctic Rally Finland February 26 - 28, 2021 ROUND 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 Arctic Rally Finland February 26 - 28, 2021 HYUNDAI’S HELLO Given the freezing temperatures outside, I would like to extend a warm welcome to Arctic Rally Finland and for the first of what we hope will be two visits by the WRC and Hyundai Motorsport to the country in 2021. Before I underline the team’s hopes and expectations for this event, I wish to acknowledge all the hard work that’s gone into putting on this rally in such a short amount of time. The efforts of AKK Sports and all the volunteers, particularly in the context of COVID-19, has really impressed me so a big thank you to them. It’s fair to say we showed our limits on Rallye Monte-Carlo and found ourselves licking our wounds and trying to get ahead. Unfortunately, it didn’t work there and after making some changes to our approach we start the second round of the season hoping it will be much better than the first. Having wished a fond farewell to Carlos del Barrio after Monte as he prepared for the next chapter of his career, we are pleased to welcome back Craig and Paul for the start of their half-season campaign in a Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC. We know very well their ability and determination as they try to make a strong start to their season. As well as our regular World Rally Car drivers, we are giving a big chance to a really promising youngster, Oliver Solberg.
