Summer Weekday Service (Weekdays from 5/13 to 8/20): There are two routes in service: “Summer 1” Route (the “Weekend 1” Route from the Spring 2021 Semester renamed for the Summer): College Avenue Campus, to Busch Campus, then to Livingston Campus, then to the SAC (George Street southbound direction) on College Ave Campus, then to Cook/Douglass Campuses, then back to College Avenue. “Summer 2” Route (the “Weekend 2” Route from the Spring 2021 Semester renamed for the Summer): College Avenue Campus, to the Cook/Douglass Campuses, then to the SAC on College Avenue Campus, then to Livingston Campus, then to Busch Campus, then back to College Avenue. The “Summer 1” will operate from 7 AM until 12:15 AM. Starting from the Red Oak Lane bus stop on the Cook/Douglass Campuses, the “Summer 1” will depart every 22-23 minutes starting at 7 AM until 9:15 PM; every 45 minutes from 9:15 PM until 12:15 AM (the last bus departs from ROL at 11:30 PM). The “Summer 2” will operate from 7 AM until 11:07 PM. Starting from the Red Oak Lane bus stop on the Cook/Douglass Campuses, the “Summer 2” will depart every 22-23 minutes from 7 AM until 7:22 PM, and every 45 minutes from 7:22 PM until 11:07 PM (the last bus departs from ROL at 10:22 PM). These two routes will operate Monday thru Friday throughout the Summer; departing as per the timetables listed on pages 3-4. Summer Weekend (Weekends from 5/15 to 8/22) & Holiday Service: Route in Service: “All Campuses” Route (covers the same stops as the “Summer 1”): College Avenue Campus, to Busch Campus, then to Livingston Campus, then to the SAC (George Street southbound direction) on College Ave Campus, then to Cook/Douglass Campuses, then back to College Avenue. The “All Campuses” bus will run on weekends during the Summer; and on the following holidays: Memorial Day (Monday 5/24) & Independence Day July 4. It will operate every 45 minutes from 10 AM until 7 PM (the last bus departs from Red Oak Lane at 6:15 PM), as per the timetable listed on page 4. The RBHS Shuttle: Service remains suspended until further notice. The “New BrunsQuick 1” Shuttle: Service remains suspended until further notice. Knight Mover Service: Knight Mover Phone #: 732-932-RIDE (7433) The Knight Mover provides individual transportation within or between ALL the Rutgers New Brunswick & Piscataway campuses AFTER the Intercampus Transit System ceases to operate for the evening. Call the Knight Mover Phone # listed above, or the RUPD (732-932-7211) only during the hours listed below to request transportation. Summer Knight Mover Hours (until 8/22) are as follows: Weekdays: Midnight (12:00 AM) until 7:00 AM Weekends: 7:00 PM until 10:00 AM FALL SEMESTER 2021 REGULAR SERVICE (Dates subject to change): Rutgers-New Brunswick/Piscataway Campus Buses will operate the regular Fall Semester 2021 Weekday schedule starting on Monday 8/23; and the Weekend schedule starting on Saturday 8/28. Please arrive to a bus stop at least five minutes in advance in case the bus is running ahead of schedule; and also please allow yourself as much time as possible to get to your intended destination. The campus buses may experience delays arriving to a stop and/or getting to your destination especially due to traffic, weather, road conditions, and/or any unexpected event/detour along the route. Notice: On days where portions of George Street is closed off to allow for Outdoor Dining for the local downtown New Brunswick restaurants, the buses will be operating on detours on the way to/from Douglass & College Avenue Campus. Rutgers affiliates are allowed to chalk on designated areas on campus, however they must be affiliated with a student organization or department, and must be chalking for that particular affiliation. Furthermore, prior approval is required and must occur at least one week before the date of the requested chalking. This can be done by completing a Chalking Request Form, which can be downloaded from the Student Life New Brunswick Forms Library.
