Volunteer History
Aide for a home-based daycare 2001-2012 Helped to take care of children of all ages during lunch breaks and after school hours. Was responsible for organizing activities, as well as providing care to the children.
Math and science tutor 2007-2012 Provided tutoring in high school and undergraduate level math, biology, chemistry, and physics for students struggling with these subjects.
Leadership History
Student leader for NAFTA campaign 2014-2016 Organized campaign to have optometry added to NAFTA. Ran events to engage University of Waterloo's optometry students in demonstrating interest for this cause. Attended meetings with the Canadian Association of Optometry, and am currently collaborating on this cause with the CAO.
Environment Coordinator for Campion College Students' 2011-2012 Union Organized events centred around themes of sustainability. Helped to organize and volunteered for a multitude of student union events.
