Because potential buyers come to Catawiki looking for special and rare motorcycles, our in-house experts select every piece for our auctions, ensuring they are of premium quality and are presented in the best possible way.

We do this because we to keep our bidders excited and help them find the pieces they’re interested in whilst ensuring our sellers have great selling experiences. For our motorcycles auctions we seek:

Motorcycles accessories and motobilia items are not suitable for our motorcycle auctions. They may be offered in the dedicated motobilia auctions. Spare parts and motorcycles parts of collectable value (>20 years old) will only be accepted if they are in excellent condition. Condition

In order to ensure the adequate level of quality in our auctions, Catawiki applies a motorcycle condition grading scale. The grading reflects different condition in relation to the age of the motorcycle, or moped.

Grade 1 – vehicle is in excellent condition Grade 2 – vehicle is in very good condition Grade 3 – vehicle is in good condition Grade 4 – vehicle for restart (needs some work to be roadworthy) Grade 5 – in need of restoration (only barn finds) Grade 6 – only good for parts (not accepted) Condition
