PIAGGIO GROUP: Established in 1884, the Piaggio Group is Europe’s largest scooter and motorcycle manufacturer and one of the world leaders in its sector. Roberto Colaninno is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Piaggio Group, while Matteo Colaninno is Deputy Chairman. Piaggio (PIA.MI) has been listed on the Italian stock exchange since 2006, and since 2003 been controlled by Immsi S.p.A. (IMS.MI), an industrial holding listed on the Italian stock exchange and headed by Roberto Colaninno, who is Chairman. The Immsi Group’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer is Michele Colaninno, who is also a director of the Piaggio Group and Chairman of the subsidiary Piaggio Fast Forward. In December 2004 Piaggio entered the motorcycle business with the acquisition of the Aprilia and Moto Guzzi brands. Today the Piaggio Group has three separate business arms: • two-wheelers, scooters and motorcycles ranging from 50cc to 1,400cc., with 393,100 vehicles shipped in 2018. From Closed Capital to Open Metropolis: Transformation of Capital City in Tang and Song China, ca. 700-1100 Hang Lin [email protected] Abstract. Chang’an of the Tang dynasty (630-907) and Kaifeng of the Song dynasty (960- 1127) represents two major stages in the development of the capital city in premodern China. In contrast to Chang’an, a semi-autonomous walled “urban village” separated by wide expanse of transitory space, Kaifeng was a dense city criss-crossed by ad hoc commercial streets filled with a variety of urban activities during days and nights. Indeed, during this period, a number of significant changes took place, which helped to erode the Tang urban structure and to give birth to a new, one in which the closed walled city transformed into an open market city. Based primarily on textual and material evidence, this paper outlines the characteristics of the layout and structure of the two cities and examines various aspects of the daily life in both cities. This comparative analysis sheds light on the unique pattern of transformation of cities in medieval China. Introduction Historians of premodern Chinese urbanism have long assumed that the origins of the Chinese imperial city plan stem from a passage in the Kaogong ji (Record of Artificers) section of the classical text Zhouli (Rituals of Zhou), which describes the city of the King of Zhou (Fig. 1): ‘When the artificer build the capital, [the city should be] a square of nine li on each side, with three gates on each side. -

HISTORIA DE LOS AÑOS 50 La "Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo" (SEAT) apareció el 9 de mayo de 1950 en el despacho de un notario. Firmaron la escritura pública el INI (Instituto Nacional de Industria), cinco bancos españoles y la empresa automovilística Fiat, que aportaba su tecnología y experiencia en el sector. Además, Fiat, dada su posición de privilegio en el pacto, impuso los criterios económico-industriales por encima de los criterios políticos deseados por los miembros del estado totalitario. Gracias a este hecho, la fábrica se construyó finalmente en unos terrenos de la Zona Franca de Barcelona, muy cerca del puerto y, por lo tanto, con muy buenas comunicaciones, descartando la ubicación de las instalaciones en una zona "más española" como hubiera sido Merimé, que era la preferida por las autoridades. En los primeros tiempos de funcionamiento de la sociedad, los principales lugares de responsabilidad fueron ocupados por ingenieros militares como José Ortiz Echagüe, primer presidente de la empresa, o Luís Villar Molina, que inspeccionaba periódicamente a través de las 22 hectáreas de las instalaciones los avances en las obras de construcción de las naves montado en su caballo. The first-generation Insight was manufactured as a two-seater, launching in a single trim level with a manual transmission and optional air conditioning. In the second year of production two trim levels were available: manual transmission with air conditioning , and continuously variable transmission CVT with air conditioning. The only major change during its life span was the introduction of a trunk-mounted, front-controlled, multiple-disc CD changer. In addition to its hybrid drive system, the Insight was small, light and streamlined — with a drag-coefficient of 0.
