The core of the exhibition/project is the sustainable development of the “inbetween“ territories: the lost places and traces far away from defined routes, rarely visited. Our goal is to draw attention to this kind of places and discuss new approaches and possible ways for expanded knowledge and new connections. The trip continues to Arkhangelsk for workshops with students at schools n:o 1 and n:o 21, performance at NARFU (Northern Arctic Federal University) and exhibition at the Regional Scientific Library (Dobrolubov) in combination with public performances (dance, music, film). Films, photographs, texts, audio works, artifacts, workshops, multiples, prints, performances and concerts. Raketa / RAKETA _ PRESS @ the Venice Biennale Press Days "Brodsky Game" is a game under development, sprung from the visit in Konocha as part of the Mobile Tour in Arkhangelsk Oblast, Autumn 2014. Venice was an important place for Joseph Brodsky, a place he portrays in the book "Watermark. An Essay on Venice". (May) HOUSE IN THE FOREST - THE SCHOOL IN BETWEEN Raketa & invited Guests from various disciplines conduct a research field study trip to Arkhangelsk and Kenozersky National Park in the Arkhangelsk Oblast. We participate in a conference for personnel at various national parks from all over Russia. THERE IS A VISITOR @ KÄLOM JÄMTLAND As a feedback part of the project, we invite development manager at Kenozero National Park and representatives from our Russian partners to workshops, field trips, meetings, exhibition, concert in Stockholm and Kälom, Jämtland. A small exhibition and a public night at Byhuset: talks about the project, showing films and pictures, readings, performances and concerts. To be continued . (June 14 - 21) RAKETA & FRIENDS @ KENOZERKY NATIONAL PARK We return to the park, planning the renovation of the two buildings - houses that has been left empty and has matured over many years: the Club House in Ust´-Pocha and the House on the Hill in Philipovskaya. On the trip, invited by Raketa, are a professor, teachers and students from the Moscow Architecture Institute (MArchI) and RUDN People's Friendship University / Landscape Architecture Dep. A serie of workshops are performed together with Raketa @ Kenozersky National Park. (September) TRANS-SIBERIAN MIGRATING RESIDENCY Raketa and friends turns in the other direction and crosses the continent horizontally, from west to east, on a nomadic residency traversing the entire eurasian continent. This moving artistic research trip on the Trans-Siberian railway goes from Moscow to Vladivostok. At the destination we met artists and students from ZARYA Center for Contemporary Art, made presentations about our work at the train and performed a TRANSSIB DJ set at one local bar at the shore of the Japanese Sea, before rejoining the rest of the crew at the State Darwin Museum in Moscow. (Sept 21 - Oct 3) 6th MOSCOW BIENNALE OF CONTEMPORARY ART / STATE DARWIN MUSEUM, MOSCOW HOUSE IN THE FOREST - THE SCHOOL IN-BETWEEN / Trans-Siberian Migrating Residency: Anthropological research. Raketa & Friends @ Roof Top @ State Darwin Museum as a Special Project of the 6th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art. (Oct 3 – Nov 8) TRANS-SIBERIAN ARTIST RESIDENCY ON GOTLAND Gotland Film Lab Residency at BAC–Baltic Art Center, Visby and film studio Kustateljén in Fårösund. Raketa and friends rejoins on Gotland for workshops and a continued investigation of the nomadic residency, followed by a public presentation. (Oct 23 – Dec 4) CREATIVE PRACTICE AS A SOCIAL AGENT: RECENT ARTISTIC, CURATORIAL AND DESIGN PROJECTS THAT FOSTER SOCIAL CHANGES @ EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY AT SANKT PETERSBURG, RUSSIA. Raketa & Partners is invited to the international conference "Creative practice as a social agent: Recent artistic, curatorial and design Projects That fetuses social changes" at the European University at Saint Petersburg, Russia. The seminar is organized by TOK (creative association of curators), based in St. Petersburg. In parallel to the conference Raketa is also participating in Intercult & TOK's project "Meet curators from Northwest Russia!" (SI/Creative Force). 2-DAY SEMINAR @ STATE DARWIN MUSEUM / MOSCOW ARCHITECTURE INSTITUTE / RUDN PEOPLE´S FRIENDSHIP UNIVERSITY, MOSKVA RUSSIA. Activating the exhibitions last days at the State Darwin Museum in Moscow Raketa is arranging a 2-day seminar in cooperation with the Moscow Architecture Institute (MArchI) , RUDN People's Friendship University / Landscape Architecture Dep., Kenozersky National Park and the State Darwin Museum. (Oct 3 – Nov 8) HOUSE IN THE FOREST - THE SCHOOL IN BETWEEN @ ARKHANGELSK A two-day roundtable @ Kenozersky National Parks office in Arkhangelsk. We look and reflect on what we have done during the year and make plans for what we intend to do in the year 2016. What is possible? The long-term perspective, organization and budget? We conduct two workshops with children @ Kenozersky National Parks office in Arkhangelsk in cooperation with the park and Arkhangelsk Art School for Kids No. 1. Concerts at the restaurant in the same building as Kenozersky National Parks office and @ Artist Union, Arkhangelsk Branch Gallery in Arkhangelsk. FROM SOIL TO STRUCTURE, MALMÖ, SWEDEN A two-day program of artistic gestures and discussions around soil and urban memories. Artists, urban gardeners, residents and researchers met to experience, discuss and taste a specific moment in history. From Soil to Structure was part of the Nordic Open Data Week, supported by Vinnova, and of the research project “Living Archives”, funded by the Swedish Research Council. (June 4 – 5) 2 KULLAR OCH ALLAS RÖSTER! / 2 HILLS AND EVERYONE VOICES! A meadow, apple trees, water faucet, berry bushes and benches with sound and voices - the residents' stories. A garden and a library at the senior housing market garden in Lyckeby, Karlskrona. Raketa draft a garden in a garden and collect the residents' stories as a sound piece in one of benches made of wood. In cooperation with Handelsträdgårdens residents and staff, Store Hans Handelsträdgård, Art Land, Karlskronahem/Karlskrona municipality (2014 - 2015). ALTERNATIVE NOBEL DINNER – COOKING EVENT @ KONOSHA Alternative Nobel Prize dinner at Konosha library named after Joseph Brodsky. Meeting with Galina Erofeevskaya, director of Solvychegodsk Historical Museum and the director of Solvychegodsk County; Xenia Matsegora, director of The Museum of the Artistic Exploration of Arctic.
