The Crag is a landmark house of notable architecture and the story attached to its history is particularly fascinating. The availability of The Crag represents an extremely rare opportunity to acquire an imposing family home with flexible multi bedroomed, multi reception roomed accommodation within 3¾ acres of established gardens and grounds in a wonderful convenient location with easy access to Padstow, nearby beaches and the coast. 5 Ref: LCAA7220 THE PROPERTY

The sale of The Crag provides an increasingly infrequent opportunity to acquire a highly imposing, important, wonderfully private and extensive period house constructed in 1906. The property is protected within its extensive gardens and grounds with the considerable and important benefit of long private driveway and small separate cottage accessed from the internal courtyard.

By virtue of its broad orientation, the design of The Crag logically ensures that every principal room would have commanded the best of the views over its gardens and wooded grounds.

The exterior of The Crag retains its largely maintenance free stone finish featuring numerous tall sash windows under a slate roof.

The property as a whole requires a degree of sympathetic modernisation in order to realise its full potential and would provide a very rare and exciting opportunity that is unlikely to be available again for generations, protected behind its extensive grounds and long private driveway close to Padstow and the north Cornish coast.

A truly exciting opportunity for modernisation and development subject to planning and all requisite consents, one of the most rarefied of positions close to the north Cornish coast and its availability should be taken seriously and accordingly buyers are advised to make time to attend the property as soon as possible to fully appreciate all that is on offer. The house is in the market to be sold straight away with no onward related transaction.
