Q1. When it comes to maintaining or improving the quality of life in the Aloha Reedville area, what would you say are your top two or three issues? (Unaided)

Annexing / Unincorporated Washington County (10 / 3%) Aloha is not incorporated can’t go to Hillsboro pool and THRP pool; nice to be included Aloha needs some maintenance, and the money that comes from Aloha goes to Beaverton Be a part of the Hillsboro or Beaverton community centers. We cannot belong to either one Don’t want Aloha to be a part of Beaverton. It is going to make a difference on taxes if we get absorbed by Beaverton Incorporate with Hillsboro and then take it from there It would be nice to be a city, and have those perks Like more transparency regarding Aloha government -- I don't even know if there is an Aloha government Maintaining the boundaries of Aloha-Reedville Might be annexed by Beaverton, and I would like to stay Washington County Where we are going to be annexed -- the boundary

Aesthetics / Sanitation (44 / 11%) Improved appearance of community / Keep up the look of area (9) Vacant buildings / Junky looking buildings on TV Hwy / Clean up old buildings (8) Home owners’ up keep of properties / Property upkeep in neighborhoods (4) More trees (3) Cars parked everywhere / Too many cars in neighborhoods (2) Aesthetic planning Aloha is ugly, to beautify it would be great Area where Rio Ribs was, is an eye sore At the end of 209th, there is a clothes drop and people put trash there, and it drives me bonkers Beaverton looks nicer than Aloha area, and it's developed a little bit better Better upkeep of the downtown area Businesses that need to be fixed they are boarded up now City looks run down - non maintained buildings Community doesn’t look very appealing to incoming folks; make the community look cared for Community spending on initiative for improvement to area General appearance and signage Like to see my neighborhood cleaned up: lawns mowed -- weeds everywhere -- I’m speaking of individual properties. I would like to see more pride of ownership, even in renters Lot of parking lots and concrete More bylaws to keep it clean Pride in the community; maintain yards and bonding of the area; feeling of pride in the area, make it livable Quiet airport Sanitation, keeping the streets and businesses clean, making sure our food is safe Too much noise

Q1. When it comes to maintaining or improving the quality of life in the Aloha Reedville area, what would you say are your top two or three issues? (Unaided) (Continued)

Bikes (19 / 5%) Bike lanes/paths/trails (14) Bicycle and walking access for 185th and TV Highway Bike lanes on 170th Bike lanes on Farmington Rd Improving the bike access on 198th on TV Hwy and 209th Neighborhood is really safe just traffic like bicycle people getting hit a lot

Crime / Police / Safety (100 / 25%) Public safety / Neighborhood watches (24) Police enforcement/presence/protection / Police patrolling/coverage (17) Gang crime / Gang violence / Gang interactions / Gangs in the area and schools (14) Crime / Crime prevention / Crime rate / Decrease crime (10) Graffiti / Graffiti control / Graffiti removal (10) Drug houses/apartments / Getting rid of drugs in area (6) More speed control on the streets of residential areas (3) Clamp down on illegal immigration (2) Policing, keeping the bad guys locked up / Criminal retention (2) MAX brings people into the area that may have not come here before MAX. Drug users come here and use in the fields on Baseline and Jenkins. Drug deals right on the Max Own police force Pass ordinance to limit the numbers of cars on location; an illegal business operating Police doing a good job; I guess I don’t have a lot of concerns in the area. Police to do their job calling 911 and being put on hold Proper funding of the police Reducing graffiti around my area having everything clean Reducing the crime Safety for MAX transportation because there is a lot of crime going out of my house when it comes towards MAX Stronger police force Washington County curfew back in place; stop kids driving and walking around late at night until 1- 2 am; park should close at sundown; I’ll vote for the police to not get more money; they don’t do their job Writing from the gangs and crime has improved a little; enhanced police patrols

Development / Zoning (29 / 7%) Closer shopping accessibility / More stores / More grocery stores (5) Building houses on every corner / Overbuilding / Too much commercial building (3) Restaurants (2) Clinics closer to the area because I have diabetes Commercial development in this area; live in the TV Hwy area and it's really a mishmash of old and new and this area definitely needs an upgrade Development Do not open up the urban boundaries any more - would water still flow if we lost power

Q1. When it comes to maintaining or improving the quality of life in the Aloha Reedville area, what would you say are your top two or three issues? (Unaided) (Continued)

Development / Zoning (continued) Few more, bigger box stores like a Wal-Mart Green space more of them; open lands is bad use; not as nice as used to be; zoning the way they have developed it, no thought in it. House and then a business; not cohesive to take down trees, not pretty; open lots looks like there’s no heart of the town I like the urban growth boundary; I think that should be maintained Land use as far as commercial, as opposed to residential Loosen up the zoning a little bit, so it could be more like downtown. There could be a convenience store within walking distance. They've zoned all businesses out of residential. Maintaining farm land; stop growth at some point People need to be able to walk to where they shop safely. Everybody needs to be able to park in their own driveway so there is only access to the house from one side of the home to reduce the chance of crime Properties and businesses Restaurants make better food; something from downtown Portland; new restaurants new blood Saving farm land Store is far for me Store or men's club, is that necessary They keep building more houses, and I think they need to stop. They’re not putting in street lights and they're building too many apartments, and it's going to impact everyone's life. The area is looking slum-ish already. This will affect all the services Where the stores are, and how that's planned; types of stores and where they are Zoning: it seems like we're combining business and residential zones I like to keep these sectors separate

Economy (37 / 9%) Jobs / Job development / Unemployment / Keeping businesses employed (20) Help for the needy / Helping others in community service (3) Improving business / More business (3) Fire services / Funding for fire department (2) Inflation--gas prices (2) Developing more small business in the area Economic environment I would like to see new businesses moving in and existing businesses prosper Economic growth and activity, more help for smaller businesses trying to stay here Fiscal management and planning, spending Getting the economy back up and going Low income resources are needed Prices of household goods and food

Q1. When it comes to maintaining or improving the quality of life in the Aloha Reedville area, what would you say are your top two or three issues? (Unaided) (Continued)

Environment (4 / 1%) Recycling (2) Environment issues Recycling and conservation are big in our household. Would like to see more comprehensive local recycling

Healthcare (11 / 3%) Healthcare system (4) Assistance for senior citizens Better healthcare for low income Getting rid of Obama’s healthcare Healthcare; availability of clinics in the area for all income levels Medical Price of healthcare Senior services

Housing / Taxes (27 / 9%) Lower property taxes / Property taxes going up / Taxes (8) Affordable housing / Cost of housing to go back / Price of property; can’t afford to move (5) Population density / Too many people (5) Managing housing growth / Cookie cutter houses-overpopulation (3) Housing Housing market change HOA, or rules for the area, keep a limit of cars in the drive way Housing; we cannot do improvements or upgrade our home Infrastructure of TV Hwy - lot sizes for housing needs to stay as is Multifamily housing needs to be changed Property values

Libraries / Parks (13 / 3%) More parks and open spaces / Parks and playgrounds / Lack of parks (26) Community centers are needed / More recreational centers and reading clubs (5) Cleaner parks -- free of trash, better maintenance / Upkeep of the local parks (3) Improve parks and recreation facilities (2) Library services (closer than Hillsboro & Beaverton) / Access to a library (2) Activities that we do for children after school; especially for special needs kids An arthritis pool (a pool warm enough for people like me) Dog parks Good parks, I really appreciate the parks here, we always have a restroom and trash service Keeping area available for parks Money, for the community: like for more libraries, or for parks More entertainment like a gym More security in the parks and there’s people that live at the parks No relationship parks in the Hillsboro area or Tualatin. And we don’t have any relationship with parks and res. In the fall when the do the leaf clean up they should let us know.

Parks around so that is nice

Q1. When it comes to maintaining or improving the quality of life in the Aloha Reedville area, what would you say are your top two or three issues? (Unaided) (Continued)

Libraries / Parks (continued) Walking trails Want to belong to the Tualatin Park and Rec; we cannot join without paying a fee and I feel bad about that Yards are too small (no room for the kids to play)

Roads / Lighting (111 / 28%) Road/street maintenance/repair / Road/street upkeep/clean / Roads in bad shape (34) Street lighting / More street lights / Better lighting (13) Roads/Streets (12) Roads too small for the number of people needed / Not built for traffic today / Widen roads (8) Good roads / Quality roads (4) Roads with sidewalks / Wider streets with sidewalks (3) Need left-turn on 209th (2) 185th is horrible and many get hurt; ditches need to be filled so people can walk 195 and Farmington Rd: there is too much traffic and it doesn’t allow me to take turns to where ever I go; a light or something should be there. Too much traffic in day area, more roads Better access to major roads; the fact there are more lights to get to major roads is tough Better crossing systems for the area around TV Highway so people don't get hurt trying to cross TV Highway Better grid (transportation) -- it seems that look down here on 209th -- it's a 2-lane road between Farmington and TV Highway -- oodles of trucks use that road, and the traffic there is slow ... Longstanding problem. Crosswalks Did not finish interstate 205 to connect with Cornelius Pass Fix some of the roads. It seems to me interest is not ensuring efficient traffic flow; the lights need to be synchronized. No traffic is moving at a stoplight but the traffic is going against the traffic flow. It seems someone could think this through more, to make it efficient Fix the roads. Repaved my street last year and all the manhole covers are countersunk Going back to one-way streets is not going to help; lots of expense I would love to see 209th widened; also a light there at 209th Lack of room in Aloha area...there are a lot of 2 way roads. A lot of people live in , and there are so many 2 way streets, and it would be going back into one lane. Lots of streets need a lot of repair like 160 and TV Hwy Main road make people friendly not so much cars and bikes. So people will want to go for a walk Maintaining the safety margins on the sides of the roads - areas that have poor lighting Noticed it's hard to get around anyway other than driving, walk is difficult because there aren't many crosswalks, and it's even harder to bicycle One thing is keep repaving my road and now I need a 4-wheel drive to get down into my driveway we are a cut thru street and on weekends it’s a freeway/ 197th Problems with the streets that there isn’t enough space for parking example the neighbor make double lane.

Road drivability

Q1. When it comes to maintaining or improving the quality of life in the Aloha Reedville area, what would you say are your top two or three issues? (Unaided) (Continued)

Roads / Lighting (continued) Road maintenance; re-pave roads that don’t need it. My street was fine and didn’t need it I can think of 10 other roads, easily, in the area that needed to be re-paved more than mine Road work slowing my commute Roads are going well Roads synchronizing the lights Roads, improve them for more traffic flow Safety of roads, and the ability for everyone to be able to safely share the roads Some of our roads out here really need some help as far as paving and lights, without it, it does tend to hurt things Some of the roads such as 209th could be widened for bikes and walkers because it's not very safe as it is Speed limits are not matched to the road Streets, TV Hwy is starting to look like East LA, like the ghetto; I don’t like the billboards on TV Hwy they are an eye sore. The roads need work ... It's becoming a corridor for commuters There needs to be a left turn lane on 209th and TV Hwy Things are better since they have started to fix the roads and potholes We own adult foster care homes on this street and there is no place for them to park or walk When the winter hit last year, the roads weren't cleaned off well. I had ruts deeper than my car so I couldn't go to work. Maybe a few stoplights need turn signal -- for example 209th and TV Highway; so often cars can't turn left or right Wish Cornelius Pass wasn't a thoroughfare, and construction would be finished quicker

Sidewalks (50 / 13%) Better sidewalks / More sidewalks / Sidewalk development / Sidewalks (39) Easy access to the schools for the kids / Sidewalks and curbs for children walking to school (4) Sidewalks for 209th (3) 198th should have sidewalks (2) More code enforcement with sidewalks Sidewalks on Farmington Rd Sidewalks, the bus stops are really hazardous at some locations Traffic safety on Farmington, past 185th away from Portland they made it nearly impossible to walk safely because there are no sidewalks; with the road upgraded, there are more cars and it has become dangerous. I’m blind; I worry about myself or my guide dog getting hit. That's really about it, but we are thinking of moving because of it; safety as far as getting around by foot or on bike are important Walk ability

Schools (56 / 14%) Improved education / Quality education (15) Schools (13) Funding of schools / More funding for schools / School funding programs (3) School system problems (2) Schools’ playgrounds look poor / Up keep of the school grounds (2) County has not used funds properly, schools not getting funds; city uses money for sports and not for books Good schools Heard schools here aren’t as good as in the Bethany area I would be happier if they weren't trying to change the district from trimesters to semesters; better funding for the schools Info for Beaverton School District, but in Hillsboro School District; need to figure that out; I get no info from Hillsboro school; zip code thing Keep schools operating with low number of kids per classroom Maintaining the priority of the schools; need no more cuts. I’d be happy to pay more taxes if they went to the schools. Making sure schools are maintained academically Not enough books in the school system Not too happy with the schools out here, or the childcare out here. I feel like sometimes they don’t pay enough attention to what is going on, kids were always fighting when I would go to the school, I would say something but it seemed like nothing was done. It is also hard to find quality childcare Quality of the schools, lower teacher to student ratio, and more programs for kids who are above grade level Quality schools with option of private or charter school School closer to where I live School teachers properly paid Schools and what they take away from kids. How they use the tax money, but it seems like they are still taking away from the kids at schools Schools in regards to budget cuts and how it will impact the children Schools offer free lunch; the school allocation of funds could better Schools, and the community and how giving it is to help out with the schools and stuff Schools, I think the kids have too many opportunities to make up their homework; kids are held more accountable Schools, they are eliminating so many teachers right now so class sizes are going up Too many kids in the schools

Q1. When it comes to maintaining or improving the quality of life in the Aloha Reedville area, what would you say are your top two or three issues? (Unaided) (Continued)

Traffic (110 / 28%) Traffic congestion / Traffic increasing / Traffic control / Reduce traffic / Better traffic flow (94) Add a couple more traffic lights on Farmington because there are a lot of accident between 185th, and 198th General traffic as far as traffic control in relation to the growth of the area Lots of traffic where I live because it doesn’t let people cross (lots of accidents) Not so many signal lights Right now traffic is getting a little better but used to be more of an issue Timing of the lights would help Traffic (no change in highways even though there are more people) - speeding in the neighborhoods Traffic and the way the grid system is laid out here. Traffic doesn’t move very well because the roads could use expansion but there really isn’t room. It's just an odd layout so traffic doesn’t flow well Traffic is horrible because we only have TV Highway. Road on Alexander, and people go through there at 50mph Traffic pedestrian stopped for them by drivers Traffic that comes off of Cornelius Pass and Baseline that comes off quickly; I don’t know how that can be dealt with, maybe speed bumps Traffic, seems like there's too much of it, get the flow going a little better Traffic, which is beyond belief, 185th and across TV Highway; when cars go through, they are in a big hurry, and they put in a light, and kids and people are killed or injured. There are some pretty tacky buildings that are pretty bad looking, and they have been for some time. There is really no nice place you can go. She was given a ticket for $143 for making a turn in to big lots, where she thought a farmers market was, and the officer gave her a ticket for making the turn where there was not a turn allowed. Traffic; on Murray and Canyon Rd to 217; traffic light, and it is always crowded from 3 - 6 pm. Traffic engineer should do a better job Traffic-better that serves Aloha

Q1. When it comes to maintaining or improving the quality of life in the Aloha Reedville area, what would you say are your top two or three issues? (Unaided) (Continued)

Transportation (15 / 4%) Transportation issues (7) Around me there isn’t transportation like bus, or the bus goes about 20-30 minutes away from me (Cornelius Pass and Baseline) Better transportation Buses, they have too many stops, they mess up traffic because they stop so frequently, it would be better if the busses had a turn out MAX is good. Planners built on the assumptions that parking is limited; some houses have 2 cars, they thought people would use MAX more, they don't

www.co.washington.or.us/alohareedville Aloha-Reedville Study & Livable Community Plan Baseline Verbatim Appendix September 2011 Page 9

Max stop, park and rides, have a signal to get on to the main roads like regular lights; park and rides don’t have light to get out More public transportation: buses and MAX lines Have the MAX line, but we need some connectors to the MAX Transportation in this area, we aren't really well served; this bus line is about 5 blocks from here, but the way it's set up you don’t really want to walk 5 blocks in the rain so we use the cars

Water (6 / 2%) Clear water Get rid of drainage ditches on sides of roads Like the water here; it's very clean and drinkable Price of water is way out of hand, because of that I have to cut back on other spending & the is very difficult for someone living on SSI and a small pension. Because we live in a manufactured home park we pay more than regular home owners. I enjoy the parks but they are expensive too, but I enjoy walking in them, and the activities. I know that food here is expensive, but it's expensive throughout the U.S. Problem with drainage; pipes need to be cleaned and maintained. Every backyard should have a creek if possible so water has a place to flow, an easement. If we don’t they will have to increase taxes to maintain the problems the lack of drainage creates. Water rates are going up / Water bill too high (2)

Miscellaneous (14 / 4%) Brandy and Judy, at Washington County disability, help with my mother's care. We also have meals on wheels delivery. Hospice will come and take care of my mother when it gets to the point I am no longer able to care for her on my own Concerned about the livability of the area; diverse area; people getting the right resources, so many hwy intersect areas, it brings crime to area. Have more cohesive and quality of life for us; national night out was great. Not sure all of the community takes advantage of that. Schools are important part of that; a lot of ethnic groups aren’t aware. Some are ashamed to, not being able to speak English; don’t think the renters can participate in activities. Don't know the percentage of homeowners to renters, it makes a difference; the two factions should be brought together. Crime is ok; major highways that intersect it tend to separate the areas; brings area together. Don’t go out much

Q1. When it comes to maintaining or improving the quality of life in the Aloha Reedville area, what would you say are your top two or three issues? (Unaided) (Continued)

Miscellaneous (continued) I live close to a school and a lake and when school is on, the students come to the lake and give the animals food; once there’s no food the animals get out of the lake and look for food. The animals suffer there during the winter time Less government Less noise from TV Highway Mail delivery is getting worse Neighborhoods Neighborhoods getting together and communities

www.co.washington.or.us/alohareedville Aloha-Reedville Study & Livable Community Plan Baseline Verbatim Appendix September 2011 Page 10

Positive way: a nice place to live. Negative: problems making noise from neighbors. Some of our neighbors are kind of loud, and I need to yell at them to tell them we want to sleep. Hispanic people are partying all night long. Speeding and chickens. I live on a street where people go over 25 mph a lot. It's a residential street and the speed limit is 25. People have chickens, and they make too much noise. Too much government intrusion: like trimming my trees without a permit Without a congressman at the moment; Aloha study plan and I am participating in that has a governing or taxing process

Don’t know / No problems / Satisfied (52 / 13%) No problems / None / Nothing (36) Don’t know / Can’t think of any / Haven’t thought about it (9) I just moved here (2) Don’t really have any issues, we seem to be in a good position; we are close to the MAX and have just had our roads repaved; seems to work fine for us Don't know that I don't have any issues. Usually 'improvement' means spending money No major gripes right now. My street was just repaved Very good; we have nice streets and room to walk we find it very good We don’t really have that many issues since we aren't near major roads

Q2b. What are the main reasons you live in the Aloha-Reedville area, and the reasons you might recommend this area to others?

Miscellaneous

Enjoy diversity / Ethnically diverse (2) Big yard and the trees / Bigger yards here nice trees (2) All the services are here close to my house Area we live in is really beautiful; we're surrounded by trees and green so that's very nice. However the sense of community isn’t the same as other parts of this area, there is no central area to meet, like there is in Beaverton where they have the library and the market. It seems like more of a place than a community Be nice to have more recreation Because of our business there are no other homes built to be used as foster homes so unfortunately we have to live here, but would rather not. We would recommend it due to it being in the Century HS area Been here 22 yrs a lot of Hispanic in the area, gang problems are an issue; too much blight now; makes me sad turned into a poor area Busy Dreamed of living here Found a house we loved Good businesses Good restaurants Got a house we liked, we liked the neighborhood, we like the area pool. We're not in the district -- that's a problem House I got was the only one I liked Issue with no left-hand turn light at 209th

www.co.washington.or.us/alohareedville Aloha-Reedville Study & Livable Community Plan Baseline Verbatim Appendix September 2011 Page 11

Less illegal immigrants Like the apartment I moved into Like the local government Location, location, location, standard of living; love the nature of that area. This area is outstanding! Lot of families, family environment Making sure they maintain green spaces Moved here because could get an attractive property in 1986; socioeconomically it's going down, and lower SES people are moving in, a mixed culture Moved here from Hawaii and came here by chance Moved to the area in the 50's because I worked for Techtronix; a positive is we are bringing more companies and employment to the area like Solar World. In the past the schools in the area have been superior, but due to costs continuing to go up I’m not sure schools are keeping pace with the cost. Housing is coming down to be far more affordable Nice mixture of old and young people and those of other nationalities One level homes for older folks; I think that is appealing to people Only place I had in choice Our neighborhood is friendly, safe, and good for kids Perfect house for us, because it had the garage I needed. How about having dedicated bicycle streets and lanes, but few and far between; bikes should stay on these routes and use only specified streets to get on them

Q2b. What are the main reasons you live in the Aloha-Reedville area, and the reasons you might recommend this area to others?

Miscellaneous (Continued)

Pockets of good and bad areas here Pretty trees; airplane traffic too loud from nearby Private field and feelings Pushing away because the schools need to do more events for children; schools aren’t support enough Responsibilities of fatherhood brought me here. I was born here. There are no hurricanes and earthquakes; weather is all right Suitable house in 2006 and we've just stayed Thinking of moving out of here due to the grid-lock in traffic and crime increasing on the streets Used to live in San Francisco, CA and it is similar Utilities costs are very reasonable Well served, and taxes are right; good social services and the quality of life is pretty good, it's not overgrown Wide streets

Q8b. Thinking about the types of activities I just mentioned in the previous two questions, which activities or areas of involvement do you think could have the most impact, in terms of shaping plans or decisions for the Aloha-Reedville area?

Miscellaneous

Advertising in the paper, flyers in the mail Aloha needs to be defined by boundaries Churches Community committees in general Community development for Washington County that should do it, that should help Community participation, and homeowners' associations -- we try to keep in touch to help keep their community intact Contacting a congressional representative Contributing to county campaigns Education, in making schools better more schools or decrease class sizes Electronic signs to get information to people as they drive by Get people to deliver food to people who need it; Lower gas and food prices in the area Get together as human beings, off the computers. And get to know your neighbors maybe Getting rid of pedophiles in my neighborhood; in general safety for the children in the area Getting rid of vandalism and graffiti Good communication in either the newspaper or TV Have a central source of community news and plans, so that everyone can be apprised of what's going on Have a committee that gets everyone involved so everyone has a sense of pride Helping to get jobs in the area and most of our energy toward the youth to keep them busy Home owners groups I need more information and others do also I want to keep it Aloha Reedville not Beaverton or Hillsboro I watch the council meetings and other committee meetings on TV so I can keep up with what I can I am visually impaired Improving baseball fields In Wash, Mult, Clark, Clackamas County it doesn't matter what the people want, the politicians will put through any pet projects that they want, regardless of what the majority of the population wants. The special interest groups prevail -- illegal aliens, cyclists, Individual citizens making phone calls to other citizens about ... Whatever Just get the attention of the area citizen Lack of community activities, so I think we need some more. There's no farmer's market in the summer, there's no more Aloha Days, where they would have a flea market, entertainment with the merchants Local involvement More community access and neighborhood interest there are just too many areas that do not take pride in their homes and neighborhoods More community involvement More participation in the community More Youth Centers are needed

Newspapers and community meetings within neighborhoods and earlier so the older folks can attend since we don't do much driving after dark And a senior center that is close. In the neighborhood we live in there are 4 neighbors that are senior citizens and I think there are a lot of seniors that live here in the area Not coming up with any good answers there Park and Green Areas developing making sure we have those environments in the community Participating in community commissions Participating in the Business Committee -- see earlier for exact name People need to know what it is, and what it is not. No signs denoting the neighborhood. People don’t even know if they're in Aloha. Signage definitely needed. Businesses can do more to promote the Aloha business area. For example, Burger King on TV Highway did a very successful fundraising effort. 'We support Aloha/Reedville ...' must emphasize the name Politicians announce a balance budget Sports complex perhaps The community committees, the non-profits, and the religious I believe that we are more effective when we're part of a group that has a common goal The local Aloha Reedville Study that is in progress right now. Survey to be sent we need a bike path to Salem so we can make our views known The opportunity to be on a commission Through the local churches To incorporate the community Transportation issues for the future Voice their opinions on the cost of sports programs; they should cut back on the cost, not the sport We have neighborhood watch meetings and attendance is usually poor. Large Latino population doesn't want to be involved in the community because some members are illegal aliens Will take nearly all to make anything happen Working in the educational system and educating the adults Would like to keep THPRD in their area

Hillsboro in the Community Center Include it in the South Hillsboro area by the big Oak Tree; next thing to be developed in the new UGB area Johnson-Century area Kinnaman SP and 185th has a vacant property. We have a lot of land but it always seems to go to businesses, apartments, or too-dense housing; another vacant piece of land off Kinnaman and Farmington Large building, down past the theater, closer to 180th; Joann's Book Store is there, but it's been empty for many years Near MAX line Near the post office, that general area Near the Tanasbourne area Off TV Highway, pre-Central PCC Capitol center Police dept Reedville area Reedville Presbyterian church Rest home by Fred Meyers Right across from Intel, replace Peaks' the strip bar Right next to Indian Hills School, right next to the power line -- a lot of open property there Rosa Park is large enough to accommodate a large group Safeway shopping center by the mall on TV Highway and 201st Shaw area Shute Park lots of activity Since they annexed us into Beaverton area I just lost interest and they did not ask us anything about the move Site of the old Witch Hazel School on TV Highway Skate park Someone can donate land and a place. It takes research, maybe in a park or building that has gone downhill. Ask the people what they want; have a safe area with a light Someplace in the business area -- both Aloha and Reedville South towards the highway (some where the neighborhoods exists) Tanasbourne, 185th near Westview School

Less traffic / less traffic congestion (2) Adjusting stoplight timing so traffic flows evenly Better lateral service Bus and MAX need to be cleaner Can’t travel in bus Carpool is important Carpool lanes like on Hwy 26 Cheaper and faster to drive 3 people around than take Max is mostly 5 lanes, except the bottleneck area, and 20th area is bottlenecked and highly used; so finishing both of those Dedicated left-turn signal on TV Hwy at 209th Finish up the construction at Cornelius Pass; it's been going on forever Free ride in the bus or on MAX Gas motor on 21 inch mtn. bike; you can go 150 mile on gal of gas If gas went up more Improve the roads to handle today's traffic Less of a wait time for the lift bus to come pick up after appointments; when there is an emergency the service becomes very inconvenient Making them more appealing to ride more More access for the side streets More consistent maintenance for ticket machine etc for transit, they talk about it but never do it or they do it and then it falls behind again. It should be a standard something that is taken care of always More money for gas ...Car trips More money should be spent on roads to eliminate congestion More schedules available for bus and MAX at the stops More security on the MAX More signs; streets need signs as well More street lights, red and green More traffic lanes No improvement needed Overall improving bus services Post schedules at some of the stops, or post the stop ID numbers at all stops. It would also be nice if they had more garbage cans at the stops to reduce litter in the streets Pretty good Pretty happy for transportation Program - She calls them and they pick her up from her house Put bike on the MAX during high volume times Put tracker numbers on the poles so we can call to find out when the bus is coming Road repairs, like potholes and things like that Smart cameras that see upcoming roadway problems allowing for detours around them

Split route 88 Hart Rd. It's too long and takes an hour and a half to get where you need to go. If they could split the trip into two routes it would be time efficient. Also people will choose to use their cars instead of using the bus

Streamlined ticket purchases on the buses and trains Timing or convenience; do not want to drive to get to one Transit centers do not have public restrooms; they can at least let kids use a bathroom We are pretty central location except when it snows When using the MAX it needs to stop longer for people like me who move slower than others
