Land to the South of Tewkesbury Way

Welcome to our Community Update newsletter about our plans for land to the south of Tewkesbury Way, Lydiard Tregoze. Following consultation with the local community, we have now submitted a full planning application to Council.

Background and vision for the scheme We have developed an exemplary scheme for this are proposing to develop just three hectares of our site, which will see the development of 48 much land (constituting only 11 percent of our total land needed family homes, including a 40 percent ownership), with surrounding fields being handed to provision for affordable housing. Pre-application community consultation We would like to thank those members of the local community who attended our public exhibitions in November 2014 and June 2015 regarding our plans for this site, which were attended by nearly 200 local residents. We are grateful for all the feedback, which has been fully reviewed and considered by the design team as we refined and improved our plans for this site.

Drainage and flood risk: Following detailed surveys by our consultants, the design of the scheme has been guided by the levels, flood mitigation requirements and formation of ‘swales’ to reduce flood risk on the site and the surrounding area.
