With few exceptions they are available in print, on CD and as downloads. Some older titles are still available on microfiche, either by post or GenFair (next page for ordering). Many individual records are also available through Findmypast (see below). Ordering by Post All our publications can be ordered by post. Postage rates below. Cheques must be drawn on a UK bank in sterling, payee “Wiltshire Family History Society”. CDs – 1 to 4 items £3.00. 5 or more items £6.00 Ordering by Post – Overseas Postage Rates LP – items marked “LP” are printed for us locally and have a high postage rate to outside the UK. All publications are available as downloads, which are PDF files, with no installation needed. The files can be used on Windows and Apple MAC computers. Entries can be found using standard Search or Find facilities. Files can be annotated, copied and printed, except for CMB titles, which cannot be printed. Records On-line – Findmypast Individual baptism and burial transcript records are available on findmypast.co.uk The on-line index is free. Full records can be seen for a modest charge (a few pence), which varies with the amount of information available. If you do not find a parish, re-check periodically, as it takes time to reformat data for the site. Check our website for what else is available on Findmypast. On-line – Free Indexes to Digital Publications Free name indexes to our CMB and other digital publications are available on our website through the Publications page. Each index is a pdf file which can be viewed on-line, downloaded, copied and printed. They should help prospective buyers decide which to buy. Indexes will be added as titles are digitised.
