NSCS Newport to provide state of the art classrooms By LTJG Greg Hiltz, Navy Supply Corps School Public Affairs Officer Future students of the Navy Supply Corps School will attend their classes in a brand new, 58,000 square foot building onboard Naval Station Newport. The building will have significant upgrades that will allow NSCS instructors to more effectively train students to be “Ready for Sea.” There will be eight elec- tronic classrooms, as well as two classrooms that will be used for video tele-training. In addition, the build- ing will house a multi-purpose room that can hold up to 150 students or can be segmented into three differ- ent conference rooms.
