After weeks and weeks of hope, waiting, wanting and biting his nails in anticipation of the introduction of Captain Holt's mysterious husband on Brooklyn's Nine-Nine, the day is actually here! In today's episode of Brooklyn Nine Nine, we meet captain Holt's husband, Kevin, who is often mentioned but never seen on screen. Finally! As previously reported, the character - named Kevin Cozner - will be portrayed by Parks and Recreation star Mark Evan Jackson, and he will be introduced when he invites the entire 99th precinct for the birthday he threw for Captain Holt at their home. Apparently, the plot is in for a huge surprise when they actually meet Kevin Cozner, because all the while they literally thought that Captain Holt was married to actor Kevin Costner. I mean, close enough, right? No one can blame them for this mistake. In a recent interview with TheBacklot, Andre Braughner - who portrays Captain Holt - detailed Holt and Kevin's relationship: He's a professor of classics in Columbia, I'm a police captain and my mother is a federal judge, so this is one of those New York intellectual families. While I'm in the process of charting for all the TV premieres that I need to watch, there's one important aspect of this time of year that we can't forget: Last season's summary. Look, the summer was long and full of horrors, and I'm not going to blame you if you can't remember where every show stopped. That's where I come to help. So, I've put together a resume of Brooklyn Nine Nine Season 3 for any fans who might be confused as to why Holt and Jake are in Florida when season 4 kicks off. For the most part, Season 3 of Brooklyn Nine Nine was filled with entertaining and hilarious antics that had no real impact on the series' all-encompassing plot (but still fun to watch, of course). However, there are a few things fans need to freshen up before heading into the Season 4 premiere. There's a major relationship that finally - finally - happened in Season 3, not to mention that the entire secret mission nine Nine has taken over in the last few episodes. So if you feel even the slightest bit confused about where everyone stood at the end of season 3, here's your Brooklyn Nine Nine retraining. Jake and AmyThe great relationship development that came out of Brooklyn Nine Nine Season 3, of course, Jake and Amy finally got together! Cut for me to applause while jumping up and down, so far. Okay, here's a rundown of the two: At the start of the season, Jake and Amy encountered the feelings they showed each other at the end of season 2. While they began to study them they kept it a secret from the rest of the plot (which meant a lot almost getting caught by the hijinks), but they eventually decided to tell their friends - Charles was struck by the joy. Later in the season, the couple went on a cruise that turned out to be more work than vacation, but they admit they love each other. The pair were pretty solid for the rest of season 3, even offering a houseit for Holt so their captain could visit her husband in France. But while Jake and Amy have made plans to move together in the season 3 finale, their step forward has been hampered by the big case their precinct has handled in the last few episodes. Which brings me to ... The return of Adrian PimentoNow, viewers did not meet Adrian Pimento until season 3, but he returned to the station after 12 years spent undercover with a gangster named Jimmy Butcher Figgis. Although it seemed that Pimento would just be a fun guest star for a few episodes, he formed a relationship with Rosa Diaz, and it was pretty adorable - in its own way. In addition, Pimento's case against Figgis became much more of a matter, as soon as Nine Nine realized that a mafia boss was trying to kill a recently returned detective. As a result, the final episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 3 focused mainly on the squad investigating Operation Figgis (which included Amy working undercover in a Texas prison) and trying to find a mafia mole in the FBI. They certainly followed a break-in at FBI headquarters - but the mole turned out to be Holt's old friend Bob Annderson. Despite the fact that Nine Nine managed to get the evidence they needed to remove Figgis' operation with Bob, the mafia boss himself escaped capture. Season 3 finale ended with Holt and Jake living in Florida seemingly under the protection of witnesses to avoid being found and killed Figgis.So, the end of Brooklyn Nine Nine Season 3 was a bit of a wild ride, but season 4 might still be crazy with Holt and Jake still in Florida while the rest of Nine Nine is back in Brooklyn. And that's good news for all of us hungry Brooklyn Nine Nine fans as she's been posting a ton of photos from the set. While they don't reveal much about what's going on next season, they show a relationship between the cast that translates well into the show itself. Brooklyn Nine Nine Season 2 will air September 28. Remember it's Sundays at 8.30pm now. The trailer is pretty fantastic and we know that Kira Sedgwick and Jenny Slate are going to guest star. And these behind-the-scenes photos are another sign of good in the future. One of the best parts of Brooklyn's Nine-Nine is the understanding of the characters; While tease each other to the end, there's also a lot of a lot love is there. The fact that the cast seems to get along so well in real life is an important element for a comedy that is built so heavily on relationships. So it's not like being an actor on Nine Nine-Nine look like a ton of fun? Individually, he has a large cast full of talented comedians. You don't want to hang out with Andy Samberg? But collectively, it looks like the dumbest, most friendly, cast you can imagine. NBC Who doesn't like a good light-hearted cop show? If you're a fan of Brooklyn Nine Nine, you can look for a way to stream it straight to your home. These services will bring this incredibly popular show right into your living room. NBC NBC's website is the place to go if you want to catch some free episodes of the show, but only if you're already in the series. Depending on when you visit the website, NBC will offer multiple episodes for free, while you can unlock other episodes by logging in to the TV provider. If you connect your TV provider, such as YouTube TV, you will be able to watch every available episode through NBC. TBS The number of episodes that you can watch currently on TBS is also limited. As with NBC, several episodes are available for free, but they are scattered between previous seasons. While these are not the most recent episodes, you will be able to enjoy those while you wait for new episodes to come to the site. Hulu Hulu is the current home for all seasons of Brooklyn Nine Nine. The streaming service has every episode from season one to seven available for you to watch now. If you want to binge all the shows, then Hulu will be the place to go if you don't want to own it for your library. Amazon Prime Video Amazon Prime Video is one of the places where you can purchase this show for your library. Each season is $25 and you can purchase each episode for $3 each. With the latest season, Amazon is offering the purchase of Season Pass, so you'll be able to get episodes as soon as they're available on Prime Video. iTunes iTunes is a site to go if you are someone who uses An Apple devices. Each season is $25, which can get pricey, but it's the easiest way to look at your Apple TV or iPad. As with Amazon Prime Video, buying the last season will help you every new episode as it becomes available on iTunes. Google Play Google Play is also home to every episode of this show if you want to purchase episodes. You can purchase season one for $25, seasons two to five for $30, and a sixth season for $20. You can also each episode for $2 if you are looking for only a few episodes. Vudu Vudu is great for cross-platform video, video, Windows, Apple and Android devices. You can get season one and seasons three to six for $20, while the second season will be $35.

    SXSW FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES 2017 FEATURES Interactive, Film and Music Badges get Expanded Access to Most Programming Austin, Texas, January 31, 2017 – The South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Conference and Festivals announced the features lineup for the 24th edition of the Film Festival, running March 10-19, 2017 in Austin, Texas. The acclaimed program draws thousands of fans, filmmakers, press and industry leaders every year to immerse themselves in the most innovative, smart and entertaining new films of the year. During the nine days of SXSW 125 features will be shown, with additional titles yet to be announced. The full lineup will include 51 films from first-time filmmakers, 85 World Premieres, 11 North American Premieres and 5 U.S. Premieres. These films were selected from 2,432 feature-length film submissions, with a total of 7,651 films submitted this year. “It's exciting for us to unveil the talent reflected in this year's line up. We intentionally curate a wide-ranging program reflecting unique and new voices that examine, explore, and celebrate the creative process, the cultural zeitgeist, and glimpses of the universal through deeply personal stories,” said Janet Pierson, Director of Film. “Whether genre, big crowd pleasers, quiet meditations, hard hitting docs, or microbudget indies, we can't wait to share these films with our smart, passionate audiences.” New for 2017, the Interactive, Film, and Music badges will now include expanded access to more of the SXSW Conference and Festivals experience. Attendees will still receive primary entry to programming associated with their badge type, but can now enjoy secondary access to most other SXSW events.
