‘SWEET PECAN SUMMER’ Cast Bios CHRISTINE KO (Amanda) – Christine Ko currently stars as Emma in the FX series “Dave.” The series is based off real-life rapper and comedian Dave Burd, best known to his fans as Lil Dicky, and is executive produced by Kevin Hart and Scooter Braun, among others. Most recently, she was seen as the female lead in the Netflix original film “Tigertail,” from director Alan Yang. Ko’s other recent credits include the short film Yugen, which screened at Film Independent, the Seth Grahame Smith and Marc Webb produced series “Just Beyond” for Disney+, Greg Daniels’ Amazon series “Upload” and a season-long arc on “Hawaii Five-0” for CBS. She was also featured as the female lead in Justin Bieber’s most recent music video, “Hold On.” Ko’s additional television credits include the CBS comedy series “The Great Indoors” and the second season of HBO’s hit football comedy series “Ballers,” where she played a Miami socialite opposite Andy Garcia. She also starred in the digital series “Relationship Status,” alongside Milo Ventimiglia and Shawn Ashmore. Ko is a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts in communication and minor in finance. # # # WES BROWN (J.P.) – Wes Brown was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he attended Louisiana State University. Prior to graduating from LSU, Brown got his big break right in his home state filming the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced 2006 sports drama, “Glory Road,” which shot on location in Southern Louisiana.
