The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Amendment No.50) Order 201* Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: 1. To introduce ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions on the following lengths of roads, Lawford in the District of Tendring as specified: Road Description Summers Park BOTH SIDES: Avenue, Lawford i. From its junction with Cox’s Hill, eastwards for a distance of approximately 57 metres. ii. From a point approximately 95 metres east of its junction with Cox’s Hill, eastwards for an approximate distance of 53 metres. iii. From a point approximately 188 metres east of its junction with Cox’s Hill, eastwards, and then southwards for an approximate distance of 40 metres. Florence Gardens, BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Summers Park Avenue, Lawford eastwards for an approximate distance of 10 metres. Cambridge Drive, BOTH SIDES: From it junction with Summers Park Avenue Lawford southwards for a distance of 10 metres. Strawberry Avenue, BOTH SIDES: Lawford i. From a point approximately 36 metres from its junction with Colchester Road in a north easterly direction for an approximate distance of 27 metres and in a north westerly direction for an approximate distance of 5 metres. ii. From a point approximately 9 metres south of its junction with Dorset Square in a northerly direction for an approximate distance of 47 metres. Dorset Square (East), BOTH SIDES: Lawford i. From its junction with Strawberry Avenue for an approximate distance of 5 metres. ii. From a point approximately 55 metres east of its junction with Strawberry Avenue for an easterly northerly, easterly, southerly, westerly direction for an approximate distance of 33 metres. Dorset Square (North), BOTH SIDES: From a point approximately 15 metres north of its Lawford junction with Dorset Square (east bound), for an approximate distance of 9 metres in a northerly direction. Dorset Square (North) BOTH SIDES: From main section of Dorset Square (North) for an (serving properties 1- approximate distance of 10 meters in a westerly direction. 15), Lawford Access Road to Dale BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Strawberry Avenue in a Hall, Lawford westerly direction for an approximate distance of 10 metres. 2. To introduce ‘No Waiting Mon-Fri, 10am-11am (except for bank holidays)’ restrictions on the following lengths of roads, Lawford in the District of Tendring as specified: Road Description Summers Park SOUTH SIDE: Avenue, Lawford i. From a point approximately 57 metres east of cox’s Hill in an easterly direction for an approximate distance of 38 metres. ii. From a point approximately 148 metres east of Cox’s Hill in an easterly direction for an approximate distance of 40 metres. Florence Gardens, SOUTH & WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 10 metres east Lawford of Summers Park Avenue in an easterly and southerly direction for an approximately distance of 144 metres. BOTH SIDES: From a point approximately 154 metres east then south of Summers Park Avenue in a southerly, easterly and then westerly direction for a distance of 15 metres. Chester Grove, WEST SIDE: From its junction with Summers Park Avenue in a Lawford southerly, easterly and northerly direction for an approximate distance of 140 metres. Cambridge Drive, WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 10 metres south of Lawford Summers Park Avenue in a southerly, easterly and northerly direction for an approximate distance of 162 metres. Strawberry Avenue, WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 47 metres north of Lawford Colchester Road in a predominately northerly direction for an approximate distance of 75 metres. 3. To introduce ‘No Waiting Mon-Fri, 1pm-2pm (except for bank holidays)’ restrictions on the following lengths of roads, Lawford in the District of Tendring as specified: Road Description Cambridge Drive, EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 10 metres south of Lawford Summers Park Avenue in a southerly direction for an approximate distance of 80 metres. Cambridge Drive BOTH SIDES: From main section of Cambridge Drive in a westerly (serving properties 22- direction for an approximate distance of 42 metres. 36), Lawford Chester Grove, EAST SIDE: From its junction with Summers Park Avenue, in a Lawford southerly direction for an approximate distance of 83 metres. Florence Gardens, NORTH AND EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 10 metres Lawford east of Summers Park Avenue in an easterly then southerly direction for an approximate distance of 144 metres. Strawberry Avenue, EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 47 metres north of Lawford Colchester Road in a predominately northerly direction for a distance of 75 metres. Dorset Square (East), BOTH SIDES: From a point approximately 5 metres east of its Lawford junction with Strawberry Avenue in an easterly direction for a distance of 50 metres. Dorset Square (North), BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Dorset Square (East) in a Lawford northerly direction for an approximate distance of 15 metres. Summers Park NORTH SIDE Avenue, Lawford i. From a point approximately 57 metes east of Cox’s Hill in an easterly direction for an approximate distance of 38 metres. ii. From a point approximately 148 metres east of Cox’s Hill in an easterly direction for a distance of 40 metres. This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 by substituting TM095 312 and TM090 312 revision 1 to revision 2.
