Overnight in Lucerne. Day 2: Lucerne – Montreux with GoldenPass Line After breakfast, short walk to the railway station. The trains of the Zentralbahn are waiting for you for a small trip around the Swiss world: two languages, three states, six lakes, one line – that’s the GoldenPass Line. Starting in the German-speaking Lucerne region, the journey takes you over the Brünig pass into the Bernese Oberland. Once passed Lake Brienz, you arrive at Interlaken. Along the shores of Lake Thun, you reach the Simmen valley at Zweisimmenn and the world-renowned holiday resort of Gstaad. French language is now spoken. Further on through the wild romantic Pays d’Enhaut with the scenic villages of Château d’Oex and Montbovon continues the journey through a tunnel before the panoramic view of the Lake Geneva and Montreux opens in front of you.
