It is designed to help you discover some of what is available; giving you ideas and inspiration. It is designed to make using the centre and borrowing items easier. To borrow items you need to be a registered user with a customer ID card, obtainable from Church House, Wakefield orclick here to register online. The Resource Centre is open term time only by appointment on: Momdays 2pm- 4pm and Fridays 9.30am-1.30pm. It operates on a self - service basis with occasional staff support. If you would like to contact a member of The Resource Centre staffclick here or if you would like support, further information or to meet with a children’s adviser click here. All bookings must be made on a booking form. A paper copy is available in the Resource Centre or print page 6 of this catalogue. Please let us know if you have any suggestions of items you would like to be made available for loan in the Resource Centre. They may be useful to others too. Complete an online booking form or post to Wakefield Resource Centre 2. You will be contacted by a member of staff to confirm your booking 3. Collect your item(s) Items can be borrowed for 1 month in the first instance, renewals may be possible dependant on demand. Some items like Animals, Christingle’s and big games are only available for short term loan and MUST be booked in advance. Items need to be returned complete and in a clean, dry condition ready for use. Please check items before removing from Church House and report any loss or damage immediately as you may be charged. There is a charge for some items, such as; Badge machine components. This will be mentioned at time of booking. Please note there will be a charge for lost or damaged items and a small charge may be made if items are returned in an unusable condition. 4 Policies Borrowing from The Resource Centre The Resource Centre is open to every parish in the Diocese of Leeds. To borrow items you need to be a registered user with a customer ID card, obtainable from Church House, Wakefield or click here to register online. Books and small items can be borrowed for up to 1 month with a maximum of 20 items. Large items are for short term loan only. All bookings must be made on a booking form. These are available in the Resource Centre or click here for an online booking form. Books and small items may be renewed by telephone or email for just 1 further month unless otherwise agreed. The person named on the booking form is responsible for safe return of the items (correct number of pieces etc.) and a clean, dry condition ready for use. Please check items before removing from Church House and report any loss or damage immediately. If any items are lost or damaged whilst in your care, please inform us. A reminder will be sent for overdue items. An Invoice will be sent for the cost of replacement if items are still not returned.
