II. Venue The RWG-H and YSLME Biodiversity Forum will be held at Scholars Boutique Hotel PingJiangFu (苏州书香府邸平江府酒店) in Suzhou, PR .

III. ACCOMODATION

Rooms will be reserved at the Scholars Boutique Hotel PingJiangFu (苏州书香府邸平江府酒店) for all the participants that submit the registration form with date of arrival and return. Accommodation will be covered by PMO for the project sponsored participants, while other participants should pay for accommodation at the rate of CNY 700 per night. Please contact Mr. Minsoo Kim through ([email protected]) if you want to make some request (i.e. sharing a room with other participants in twin- bed type room).

IV. Meals and Coffee Lunch will be provided by the meeting organizer on 4 – 7 September. PMO will host the reception dinner on September 4th 2018. Coffee breaks will be prepared during the workshop as indicated in the program.

V. Transportation

Arrival at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport

- There are two international airports – Pudong and Hongqiao - in Shanghai, and the Hongqiao airport in closer to the city of Suzhou. Also, you can find high-speed trains connecting Shanghai and Suzhou frequently at Hongqiao Railway Station adjacent to the Hongqiao Airport Terminal 2.

Shanghai Hongqiao Airport to Suzhou

- There are many high-speed trains from the Hongqiao Railway Station to Suzhou Railway Station or Suzhou North Railway station. (almost every 15 minutes). It would take 25 – 30 minutes to arrive in Suzhou by high-speed train. - Hotel can arrange a car to pick you up at the Suzhou Railway station. The bus with 35 seats will cost CNY 300 (≈KRW 50,000) while the car with 6 – 7 seats CNY 100 (≈KRW 17,000). Field Visit to Dongtai Intertidal Mudflat

- Participants of the field visit will leave the Suzhou Pingjiangfu hotel in the September 6 afternoon for the Link hotel in Rudong by bus rented by PMO. Distance from Suzhou and Rudong is about 170km, taking about 3 hours by bus. - For more information of the field visit, please refer to the programme of the field visit.

Return to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport

- PMO will rent a bus to take participants from Rudong to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. The bus plans to leave Rudong at 14:00 pm on September 7th and arrive at the Hongqiao Airport around 17:00 pm.

VI. GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Time: Local time at Suzhou (GMT +8) is one hour different from Korean Standard Time.

2. Currency: The unit of the Chinese currency is RMB indicated by CNY. The exchange rate is subject to market fluctuations. As of August 16th, 2018, 1 RMB is equivalent to 163.86 KRW. 3. Electricity: The standard voltage in China is 220 and 110 volts.
