County Council (Footpath 4, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2018 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 4, Burnham-on-Crouch in the Borough of from its junction with Lane south east for a distance of approximately 370 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd July 2018 for 6 months or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while the upgrading of Footpath 4 is undertaken. The alternative route will be via: Creeksea Lane, B1010 Maldon Road, Springfield Road, Footpath 4 and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 3rd July 2018 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Lane, Little Totham in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Little Totham Road to its junction with School Road, a distance of approximately 412m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th June 2018 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CN17W025JUNIBTHR7KA – BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacing damaged cable works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Little Totham Road, School Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 14th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
