Čiurlionio g. 21/27, LT-03101 Vilnius. E- mail: [email protected] Material and Methods The material was collected in different administrative districts of Lithuania. Butterflies were collected with a standard entomological net. Moths were attracted using 160–400 W mixed light lamp bulbs. The identification of Lepidoptera species was checked with conformable guides (Kazlauskas, 1984; Ivinskis, 1993; Nowacki, 1998; Elsner et al ., 1999; Razowski, 2001; Ivinskis, Augustauskas, 2004). Some species listed bellow were mentioned as new to Lithuania (Kazlauskas, 2003) but exact finding data are presented in this report. New species are marked with an asterisk (*). The nomenclature follows O. Karlsholt & J. Razowski (1996). The material is deposited in the Zoological Museum of Vilnius University. Gredleriana Vol. 7 / 2007 pp. 233 - 306 Biodiversität von Schmetterlingen (Lepidoptera) im Gebiet des Naturparks Schlern Peter Huemer Abstract Biodiversity of butterflies and moths (Lepidoptera) of the Schlern nature park (South Tyrol, Italy) The species diversity of Lepidoptera within the Schlern nature park has been explored during the vegetation periods 2006 and 2007. Altogether 1030 species have been observed in 16 sites, covering about one third of the entire fauna from the province of South Tyrol. Fifteen additional species have been collected during the diversity day 2006 whereas further 113 species date back to historical explorations. The species inventory includes 20 new records for South Tyrol which are briefly reviewed. Among these speciesMicropterix osthelderi, Rhigognostis incarnatella and Cydia cognatana are the first proved records from Italy. Further two species from the surroundings of the Park include the first published records ofPhyllonorycter issikii and Gelechia sestertiella for Italy. Site specific characteristics of Lepidoptera coenosis are discussed in some detail. Historical aspects of lepidopterological exploration of the Schlern are briefly introduced. Keywords: Lepidoptera, faunistics, biodiversity, Schlern, South Tyrol, Italy 1.

E-mail: [email protected] 3H-5101 Jászberény, Táncsics út 5, Hungary Abstract – Four species of Microlepidoptera (Coleophora graminicolella HEINEMANN, 1877, C. pseudosquamosella BALDIZZONE et NEL, 2003, Elachista albifrontella (HÜBNER, 1817), Filatima ukrainica PISKUNOV, 1971) are recorded as new to the fauna of Hungary. The checklist of the Hun- garian Microlepidoptera is complemented with further 50 species based on published records. Six- teen valid species names are deleted from the checklist. Several comments and remarks concerning the Hungarian Microlepidoptera fauna are given. Key words – Microlepidoptera, new records, Hungary, checklist. INTRODUCTION After the publication of the Microlepidoptera volume of the “Checklist of the Fauna of Hungary” (SZABÓKY et al. 2002), new pieces of information became available concerning the microlepidopterans of the country. Altogether 54 species are added to the list based on new faunistical records, taxonomic studies, and pub- lished data. Four of them are recorded here as new for the Hungarian fauna (Coleo- phora graminicolella HEINEMANN, 1877, C. pseudosquamosella BALDIZZONE et NEL, 2003, Elachista albifrontella (HÜBNER, 1817), Filatima ukrainica PISKU- NOV, 1971). Fourteen species names are deleted from the list. New comments make the checklist more complete. We take the advantage of this possibility and try to correct the errors and mistakes present in the original list and complete (and in three cases replace) the Hungarian names with the widely used vernacular Folia ent.

  • En Tomalogiske Meddelelser
En tomalogiske Meddelelser BIND 70 KØBENHAVN 2002 Livsstrategier hos larver af Lycaenidae (Lepidoptera) Arne Viborg Viborg, A.: Life strategi es in larvae of Lycaenidae (Lepidoptera). Ent. Meddr 70: 3-23. Copenhagen, Denmark, 2002. ISSN 0013-8851. This artide reviews the association between lycaenid larvae and ants, and de scribes structure and function of the lycaenid larval an t-organs involved in myrmecophily.
