“That this House concurs in the recommendation of the Lok Sabha that the Rajya Sabha do agree to nominate one Member from Rajya Sabha to associate with the Committee on the Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes of the House for the unexpired portion of the term of the Committee vice Chaudhary Chunni Lal, died and resolves that the House do proceed to elect, in accordance with the system of proportional representation by means of single transferable vote, one Member from among the Members of the House to serve on the said Committee.” The motion was adopted. 12-20 p.m.
