    CENTRAL RESERVE POLICE FORCE (Min of Home Affairs) CRPF CORNERS THE GIANT’s SHARE OF GALLANTRY MEDALS YET AGAIN Having bagged 71 Gallantry Medals awarded on the occasion of Independence Day-2014, the CRPF has once again proved as to why they continue to be the most sought after Force to counter internal security issues. This year the Force has been decorated with 1 Shaurya Chakra and 64 PMGs of which two have been awarded posthumously. In the calendar year 2015, CRPF has hit a rare century with an overall tally of 101 medals which includes the gallantry medals awarded to the Force on the occasion of the Republic Day-2015 as well.
