Kennedy and Rose Fitzgerald, sister of President John F. Kennedy and Senators Robert F. Kennedy and Ted Kennedy. His father's business project at RKO Radio Pictures influenced his interest in Hollywood. After graduating from Rosemont College, she moved there in hopes of becoming a producer and director, like her father, although as a woman in the 1950s she was only eligible for production assistant on kate Smith's radio show and then at the family theater of Peyton's father and the Rosary family crusade. She met British actor Peter Lawford through her sister Eunice in the 1940s and met repeatedly until 1953, when Lawford gagged her and formally announced her marriage in February 1954. They married on April 24, 1954, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in New York City, two weeks before their 30th birthday. They settled in Santa Monica, California, and often communicated with actress Judy Garland and her family. With Peter's entry into the Rat Pack, his relationship gradually deteriorated. After Peter's sentimental shreds and alcohol problems, shortly after the assassination of John F. Kennedy, Pat filed a legal separation and the couple officially divorced in 1966. According to her religious beliefs, Patricia never married. The couple had four children: Christopher Kennedy Lawford (March 29, 1955, Santa Monica, California - September 4, 2018, Vancouver, Canada). Sidney Maleya Kennedy Lawford (August 25, 1956, Santa Monica, California). Victoria Frances Lawford (November 4, 1958, Santa Monica, California). Robin Isabel Lawford (July 2, 1961). In later years, she actively cooperated in the political campaigns of her brothers, and after her divorce Patricia Kennedy struggled with her addiction to alcohol and cancer. He also worked in and the John F. Kennedy Presidential Museum, as well as the National Center for Addiction, and was a founding member of the National Committee on Literary Arts.
