The program includes retail space, exhibit gallery, micro-distillery, laboratories, private tasting rooms, event space, and two floors of offices. The project required numerous regulatory approvals, including historic tax credits, Historic District Landmark Commission approval, and building variances and appeals. The design reflects the clients’ vision for taking inspiration from the venerable character of the existing building while highlighting the unique history of the company. A few of the design features include a three-story tall back-lit bottle display wall and monumental stair with custom filigreed guardrail. NEW ORLEANS CONVENTION CENTER LINEAR PARK New Orleans, Louisiana architect of record: MA|EDR cost: $65 million completion: 2011-ongoing MA Principal in Charge: Miwako Hattori The new park space will repurpose 7.5 acres of roadway into a continuous pedestrian promenade along the front of the Convention Center.
