We are upgrading our recording studios to improve the volunteer experience, we added an additional fundraiser – The Out of Letter from Natalia Sight Women’s Tennis Tournament – and we are continuing to expand relationships throughout the community. Through these developments, the organization you support is that much closer to supporting itself so your contributions will go farther. About Us Your support of WRBH Reading Radio means the world to us. It doesn’t matter whether your donation is large or small – we put every penny to good use, making sure that the blind and print impaired receive current information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 2015 Events weeks a year.     SAZERAC HOUSE 101 Magazine Street, New Orleans, Louisiana Architect of Record: Trapolin Peer Architects cost: $50 million size: 52,000 sf completion: estimated early 2019 Project Manager: Cynthia Dubberley The project is a historic renovation with penthouse addition in downtown New Orleans for the Sazerac Company. The program includes retail space, exhibit gallery, micro-distillery, laboratories, private tasting rooms, event space, and two floors of offices. The project required numerous regulatory approvals, including historic tax credits, Historic District Landmark Commission approval, and building variances and appeals. The design reflects the clients’ vision for taking inspiration from the venerable character of the existing building while highlighting the unique history of the company. A few of the design features include a three-story tall back-lit bottle display wall and monumental stair with custom filigreed guardrail. NEW ORLEANS CONVENTION CENTER LINEAR PARK New Orleans, Louisiana architect of record: MA|EDR cost: $65 million completion: 2011-ongoing MA Principal in Charge: Miwako Hattori The new park space will repurpose 7.5 acres of roadway into a continuous pedestrian promenade along the front of the Convention Center. Visitors moving from one end of the facility to the other will have opportunities to stop for food, view public art, or just sit and enjoy the scenery. The park space provides a variation of communal and green spaces including lawns to relax on, benches and an in-ground interactive fountain. New porches that extend the Convention Center’s concourse out to the park will allow visitors to experience first-hand the City’s vibrant street culture.
