Main brands: • Beefeater • Brewers Fayre • Table Table • Taybarns Case Study: Whitbread • Large appetite to use technology as an enabler across sites to: • Enable improved customer service by bringing core apps such as live bookings front of house • Free the team members from the traditional desktop in the back office • Increase customer service and satisfaction Case Study: Whitbread • Tablet form factors were seen as the logical choice, but: • Strong security practices and management requirements • Whitbread assessed that non-Windows tablets were not viable in their environment Case Study: Whitbread • Using OneDeploy we worked closely with the Whitbread stakeholders to define the required user experience (the “build”) • In parallel, Whitbread conducted an extensive Windows tablet review process and chose the ASUS Windows 8.1 tablet • The tablet hardware was then bought together with the build to give the whole solution. Case Study: Whitbread • The solution had coupled OneDeploy’s ease of design with Whitbread’s forward thinking approach to enterprise working and the initial feedback was overwhelmingly positive • We then built 450 tablets to the same design which were then handed out in person at the Restaurants annual conference. • We went from design to delivery of 450 tablets in 2 weeks. Case Study: Whitbread • The process was so successful that Premier Inn forged ahead with their own tablet plans in the new “Hub by Premier Inn” brand, again working with Centrality & OneDeploy Case Study: David Lloyd Leisure Case Study: David Lloyd Leisure • David Lloyd operate 98 health clubs in the UK and internationally • In a discovery phase to see about alternate device use • Enterprise Mobility options being looked at as a replacement for thin clients • Definite requirement to have EM as a replacement not supplement to traditional form factors.
