The strategy defines the Borough’s commitment to the creative arts and aims to ensure that Richmond continues to be known for providing a high quality cultural environment for both residents and visitors alike. Culture enriches the lives of everyone and makes a valuable contribution to the health and wellbeing of our community. Through our Cultural Partnership Strategy I believe we have the opportunity to extend the quality and impact of the arts sector. It has been a pleasure to see the Borough’s cultural community working together to develop and shape this strategy. It is exciting to see the commitments that have been made and I am thrilled by the possibilities that this will bring to us all in Richmond upon Thames over the next four years.
