- OU got back on the winning track with a 48-3 victory over Southwestern College in Winfield last Saturday. The Braves had A Numbers Game 444 yards of offense, 315 yards rushing and 129 yards passing. Southwestern finished the day with 242 yards of offense, 56 yards rushing and 186 yards passing.

- The three points the Moundbuilders scored against the Braves were the first points the SWC had put on the scoreboard since the 2013 season against OU.

- For the fourth straight week the Brave offense had a 100 yard rusher. Dalton Buehler rushed for 154 yards on 33 attempts and scored one touchdown against Southwestern. Connor Byers rushed for 148 yards on 15 attempts and scored one touch- down against the Moundbuilders. The Braves are 7-3 in the7 last 10 meetings against Kan- sas Wesleyan University. Last season the #14 Coyotes - TyQuinton Guy’s 86 yard interception return for a touchdown in OU’s 48-3 victory over Southwestern made it into the record defeated the Braves at Peoples Bank Field 34-24.
