Scouting Ottawa (0-0, 0-0): The Braves have been picked to finish fifth in the KCAC by the conference media A Numbers Game and sixth by the conference coaches at the 2018 KCAC Football Media Day. The Braves return their top rusher from a year ago, sophomore James Reeder. He averaged 108.4 yards per game. As a team, the Braves finished 2017 ranked 12th in the NAIA in defensive passing yards per game (180.3), 19th in rushing offense per game (204.4), 20th in total rushing offense (2,248), 22nd in opponent third down conversion (33.8), 25 in sacks against (1.6), 26th in first downs per game (22.2), 30th in total sacks against (18), 30th in opponent fourth down conversion (41.2), 39th in opponent first downs (215), 44th in fourth down conversion (43.3), 44th in punt return yards per game (8.9), 45th in punting yards per attempt (35.6), 45th in third down conversion (38.3), 49th in defensive passing efficiency (130.6), and 50th in total offensive yards per game (365.7). Football Keep on Rushing: Sophomore running back, James Reeder, was named to the 2018 KCAC Preseason Football first began on the campus of OU in Ottawa, Kan. in 1891. OU’s Team. Reeder finished the 2017 season with 976 rushing yards on 188 carries for an average of 5.2 yards first game was against the Ottawa Town Team with the Braves per rush. He scored two rushing touchdowns. Reeder also had 20 receptions for 115 yards, an average of 5.8 winning 44-0. yards per reception. He was a First Team All-KCAC selection.
