OAKLAND NOTES The Oakland Athletics had their four-game winning streak snapped and fell to 4-2 on their current 10-game homestand against Los Angeles (3- 1), Toronto (1-1), and Texas (three games)…were shut out for the third time in July and the eighth time this season. Dan Straily lost for the third straight start after being recalled from Sacramento July 20...has a 5.06 ERA (9 er in 16 ip) over that span…marks the first three-game losing streak of his career…has allowed seven home runs over his last seven starts after surrendering three homers in his first 10 starts. Coco Crisp (0 for 4, so) is batting .181 (25 for 138) over his last 34 games after hitting .301 over his first 50 contests. Derek Norris (2 for 3, so) is hitting .367 (11 for 30) with seven walks (.486 on-base percentage) in July…hit .283 in April and combined for a .163 average in May and June.
