1 Tydzień = 5 X 4000 M Npm
1 tydzień = 5 x 4000 m npm Pomysł na tygodniowy wyjazd alpejski zapadł jeszcze w czerwcu. Głównym celem na 7 dni w Alpach dla mnie i Marcina stał się Weisshorn (4505 m). Szczyt trudny do zdobycia ze względu na wysokość i odległość podejścia z „bazy”, czyli wioski Randa zlokalizowanej przed słynnym ale nieco niższym Matterhornem. Pomysł zainteresował także szersze grono wspinaczy naszego KW. Jednak skład wykrystalizował się tuż przed terminem wyjazdu i ostatecznie do Randy udali się: Marcin Miczke, Maciej Przebitkowski. Radek Sołtykowski i ja – Jacek Wichłacz. Termin: 8 – 16.08.2012r. Czyli tzw. długi weekend. Już następnego dnia, po rozbiciu namiotu na campingu w Randzie udaliśmy się na wyjścia aklimatyzacyjne. Z braku miejsc w schronisku wyjście do Weisshornhutte musieliśmy przesunąć do soboty. Razem zatem - czyli w czwórkę - wjechaliśmy kolejką na Klein Matterhorn i tu nasze drogi nieoczekiwanie się rozeszły. Jak się potem okazało na 5 dni. Marcin i ja postanowiliśmy wejść na Roccia Nera (4075 m) i jak czas pozwoli na kolejny czterotysięcznik - Polluxa (4092 m). Maciej i Radek mieli pomysł aby wejść na coś lekkiego np. na Castora (4228 m) , przespać się dla lepszej aklimatyzacji w najbliższym schronisku Quintino Sella (3587 m.n.p.m.) i wrócić w tempie wypoczynkowo-spacerowym do Randy następnego dnia. Zgodnie z założeniami nasze aklimatyzacyjne wejścia dokonaliśmy na 2 wytyczone 4 - tysięczniki prawie bez chwili przerwy (nawet nie było czasu na zjedzenie drugiego śniadania). Ale skończyłyby się to o mało co „ kiblem” na stacji kolejki. Na jej ostatni zjazd zdążyliśmy 3 min. przed odjazdem w dół. O mały włos a aklimatyzacja Marcina i moja trwałaby o noc dłużej i to w warunkach dość ubogich. -

Die Haute Route von Zinal INMITTEN EINES MAJESTÄTI TEXT/FOTOS Mario Colonel, Servoz (F) as Zinaltal – oder Val d’Anniviers – im Wallis ist ein wahres Bijou im Herzen der Alpen.Manche D halten es für eine der schönsten Gegenden in den Alpen überhaupt.Ein Kranz von Gipfeln mit Höhen über 4000 m bildet ein Amphitheater von wahrhaft majestäti- schen Dimensionen:Dent Blanche,Grand Cornier,Col Durand als Südgrenze,Obergabelhorn,Zinalrothorn und Bishorn schliessen den Kreis im Norden ab.Dazu olonel C kommen pittoreske Dörfer wie Grimentz,in denen die io r Ma : s Chalets aus Tannenholz mit ihren Balkonen und steilen o t o F Dächern schon seit Jahrhunderten die Hänge des Tals zu imitieren scheinen.Und dies am Fuss von Bergen,deren Grate und Zacken atemberaubende Formen bilden.Ski- touren in diesem Gebiet stellen eine Herausforderung dar,der nur gut trainierte und ausgerüstete Skitourenfah- rer gewachsen sind. Eine alpine Skitour Frühling im Winter durch ein selten begangenes Gebiet. Aufstieg zum Glacier Es war Ende April. Der Winter war harmlos gewesen,und de Moming es hatte wenig geschneit.Wir hatten uns für eine schöne Route entschieden:von der Cabane de Tracuit via Bishorn in die Cabane d’Arpittettaz,weiter zur Zinalrothorn- schulter und hinunter zur Cabane du Mountet und even- tuell noch in den Col Durand. Der Aufstieg zur Cabane de Tracuit erwies sich als ziemlich abenteuerlich. Es war geradezu heiss und drückend,der Schnee schwer und anspruchsvoll. Glücklicherweise herrschte nur ge- ringe Lawinengefahr,weil nur wenig Schnee lag. -

Grand Combin 4314 Meters 22-23 July 2019 Guides: Rütschi Pollinger and Thomi Zumtaugwald Situated east of the Mont Blanc massif, west of the Matterhorn, north of Aosta and south of the Rhone, Grand Combin is not among the most prominent, but is certainly one of the more remote peaks on the Swiss- Italian border. We accessed the area from the St. Bernard Pass road. After you turn off at Bourg St. Pierre and head into the countryside, it’s a long hike through winding valleys to get to the hut, Cabane de Valsorey. Our hut-climb day is very hot. We and our guides have driven from the Saas Valley in 2 cars. There is very little roadside parking. Rütschi and Thomi park their car in a farmyard, right at the trailhead. Here’s JC setting off above the farm. The walk from our parking spot at 1850 m to the hut at 3037 m takes about 4 hours. The whole 6.5 km are in unrelenting sun. We allow ourselves one short snack break and a longer lunch break just 45 minutes from the hut. Our Grand Combin tour tomorrow will include two separate 4000 m peaks, connected by a snow ridge. Reaching the first peak - just visible under the cloud here - requires a long stretch of rock climbing, some on bad and some on good rock. You can see the rock section, rising sharply from left to right; the hut is above us to the left. And here is the whole tour! We will leave the hut (not visible), climb the Arete du Meitin to the first peak (Combin de Valsorey, 4184 m), and finally the steep snow ridge to the second peak (Combin de Grafeniere, 4314 m). -

Aufstieg erwartet uns ein einmaliger Ausblick, anschliessend Abstieg über den Gletscher zur klein Matterhornbahn wo wir gemütlich nach Zermatt heruntergondeln. Pluspunkte: Einmalig schöne Aussichten auf die grösste 4000er Ansammlung der Alpen Gar nicht so schwierig 2 4000er in 2 Tagen. One Man's Fourfhousanders PETER FLEMING (Plates 41-47) No one in my family had ever shown more than scant interest in hills and mountains, and none could see any sense in climbing them. During my schooldays, as I never took an interest in sport and hated football and cricket, I was written off on school reports as an unmotivated weakling when it came to competitive games. But a new world opened up for me suddenly and dramatically when, at the age of 14, I discovered the Lakeland hills almost on my doorstep, and so it all began. Twelve months after I had left school the headmaster proudly announced at morning assembly that an Old Boy had made headlines in the local paper, upholding the school's high standards ofinitiative and achievement, and setting a fine example which he hoped everyone would remember and strive to maintain. This Old Boy had entered the first mountain trial in the Lake District as the youngest competitor and had come third over the finishing line, ahead of seasoned marathon and mountain runners. At last I had found a challenge, and it seemed that I had a natural affinity towards mountains. Four years later, in 1956- after an intensive apprenticeship, summer and winter, on Lakeland and Scottish hills -I made my first venture to the Alps. Four ofus from our local rambling club - Doug, Colin, Bill and I- drove out in a Ford Popular to Randa in Switzerland, where we took the rack railway to Zermatt. My neck ached with gazing at those awesome mountains. -
Detailprogramm
Herzlich willkommen bei der Schweizer Bergsportschule grindelwaldSPORTS. Wir bewegen dich in die Natur! 6x 4000er in zwei Tagen Das Programm: Tag 1: Gipfeltour zum Pollux 4092m Nach dem Treffpunkt in Zermatt begeben wir uns zur Klein Matterhorn Bergbahn. Mit dieser gelingen uns die ersten Höhenmeter ohne Anstrengung. Auf dem Klein Matterhorn angekommen ziehen wir unsere Steigeisen an und seilen uns an. Los geht es über das weite Breithornplateau an den 5 Gip- feln des Breithorns vorbei zum Einstieg des Pollux. Über Fels und Firn erklettern wir unseren ersten 4000er, den 4092 Meter hohe Pollux. Nach einer gemütlichen Gipfelrast steigen wir über denselben Weg wieder runter und gleich noch etwas weiter bis zum Rifugio Guide d’Ayas. Tag 2: Breithorn Traversierung (5x 4000er) Früh morgens steigen wir über den Gletscher hoch zur Roccia Nera 4075m. Nun geht’s über den schmalen Firngrat und einige Felsen weiter zum östlichen Breithornzwilling 4106m und weiter zum westlichen Breithornzwilling 4139m. Wir steigen ab in die Selle, von wo aus der Grat wieder ansteigt und immer felsiger wird. In schöner Kletterei erreichen wir den Breithorn Mittelgipfel 4159m. Nun geht’s einfach weiter zum Breithorn Hauptgipfel 4164m. Eine fantastische Aussicht belohnt uns für die Anstrengungen. Über den Normalweg gelangen wir zurück zum Klein Matterhorn. Mit der Bahn fahren wir runter nach Zermatt und lassen den Tag bei einem kühlen Getränk ausklingen. Das musst du wissen… Treffpunkt: 09.15 Uhr Bahnhof Zermatt Anreise/Rückreise: Autofahrer parken im Parkhaus in Täsch und nehmen den Pendelzug nach Zermatt. Falls du mit dem Zug anreist, kannst du das Ticket bis nach Zermatt oder eventuell sogar bis zum Klein Matterhorn lösen.
