WHAT TO BRING Bible, Pen/Pencil (if you do not have one we will provide you with one) “Everyday Clothes” for 4 days OPTIONAL: (not the best or newest) Clothes for Messy Rec Shower Shoes / Flip-flops (skits assigned at the Rally) Clothes for skit night Light Rain Coat (Sheets, pillow, blanket Linens, Pillow & Towel Recreation Items (like baseball glove, Frisbee, etc.) or sleeping bag, Bath towels, Beach Towel, etc.) Nicer clothes for evening services Toiletries (Deodorant, soap, toothbrush, etc.) Small Amount of Spending Money Tennis Shoes (for Recreation and Evening Activities) Sunscreen/ Insect Repellent Flashlight Personal Medication (ALL MEDICINES -- prescription and over-the-counter -- have to go to the Nurse/EMT at Camp. ALL Medicine [in original containers] will need to be put in a plastic bag with name and grade clearly marked. Written instructions as to dosage, when, etc. need to be inside bag as well. You will turn this in at Trinity during check-in.) Sweatshirt Appropriate Swimsuit WHAT NOT TO BRING: Personal Gaming Systems, Homework, Tobacco, Drugs, Alcohol, Lighters, Pets, Ranch Dressing, Weapons of Mass Destruction or Smaller Weapons, Soldering Irons, Speedos, Bikinis, Distractions, Pride, Bad Attitudes CLOTHING SPECIFICS YES! You can bring: Mid-thigh length shorts, jeans, pants, t-shirts, tennis shoes, etc. for the day Modest bathing suit; if not, a shirt will be required! Grace Adventures asks that you wear a cover-up to and from the lake and no bikinis. Female counselors will oversee. Skirts & blouses, dress shorts, jeans, dresses for the nightly service if you so choose. NO! Might as well leave it at home: Be careful with white clothing Spaghetti strap shirts/dresses without an over shirt Tight, form fitting shirts by themselves Mini-skirts, booty shorts, yoga pants/leggings without a longer top that covers the rear Midriffs, crop tops, tube tops, halter tops, backless dresses, off the shoulder dresses T-shirts with inappropriate sayings or pictures GUYS- We don’t want to see your nasty underwear. Please know that the Student Ministries Staff and/or your counselor will ask you to change if you are not wearing appropriate clothes! The point is not to be strict, but to remove any distractions that might take away from what Camp is all about. .
