M. Bernadette McIntyre BA, B. Admin., ICD.D

Bernadette McIntyre is a partner in Scoreco Inc. specializing in business consulting and is currently working with Regina Exhibition Association Limited. She retired from the Chief Executive Officer position at Wascana Centre Authority in 2017, where she led the Authority for nine years. Previously she was the Vice President of Driver and Vehicle Safety Services with SGI. She worked for SGI for over 27 years and had a variety of interesting and challenging positions within the corporation. Bernadette holds two degrees from the University of Regina, a B. A. in Economics and a B. Admin. both obtained with Great Distinction. She completed her corporate directors’ course and received her ICD.D in March 2018.

Bernadette is an active curler and volunteer. In March 2019 she received the Canadian Sport Tourism Association Canadian Volunteer of the Year award in and in 2018 she received the Tourism Builder award. She co-chaired the Volunteer Host Committee for the 2018 CP Women’s Open, the first time an LPGA event had been held in Saskatchewan. She also chaired and was on the leadership teams for the Bid Committees for the 2017 Pinty’s Grand Slam of , the 2018 Brier – the Canadian Men’s Curling Championship, the 2016 Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championships, the 2014 CCA/CIS National University Curling Championships, the 2008 Scotties Tournament of Hearts and was on the 2013 Grey Cup Festival Leadership Team.

She is the Past President of Curl Regina, a Past Chair of the Access Communications Board of Directors, and a past Director of the Canadian Curling Association. She is currently a member of the Active Saskatchewan Board, the Foundation Board and the GMS Queen City Marathon Board of Directors. She was the President of the 2006 Brier Host Committee – the Canadian Men’s Curling Championship and the 1998 Scott Tournament of Hearts, Chaired the Regina Exhibition Association Limited Board of Directors and was a member of the Regina Palliative Care Inc Board.

Bernadette is a past member of the Highland Curling Club Board of Directors (1990 – 2015), the University Board of Governors (1995 – 2001), Sask Sport Board of Directors (2002 – 2005) and the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame and Museum Board (2000 – 2004).

Bernadette is married to Rich and has two adult children Lisa and Shawn.
