In this guide you will find useful information about the area surrounding your hotel and general city attractions; however, we encourage you to speak with the concierge for more detailed information. We also recommend keeping a business card from the hotel in your wallet or taking a picture of it, so that you always have the hotel address with you. BASIC INFORMATION Hotel SP34 Address: Sankt Peders Stræde 34, 1453 København, Denmark Phone: +45 33 13 30 00 1. ATM The closest ATM to the hotel is by the City Hall square, a five minute walk from the hotel. Go out the main entrance of the hotel, walk right, and take the first left. Two streets down on your right is the ATM (Address: Rådhuspladsen 2-4). 2. Currency Exchange The hotel can exchange currency for you. If you want an actual store, the closest one is on Strøget (the main shopping street). 3. Convenience store The closest store is a ‘Døgn Netto’, which is located just across from the hotel. 4. Pharmacy The closest pharmacy is “Steno Apoteket” located behind the central station (Vesterbrogade 6). To get there you walk out of the entrance of the hotel, head right, cross H.C. Andersens Boulevard, walk up Hammerichsgade until you reach Vesterbrogade, and the pharmacy will be on your right. 5. Public Transportation The best way to get through town is to rent a bicycle! Otherwise, there is the Metro, S- train and A-buses (main routes, 5-8minute interval). The station for all three of these is Nørreport, which is a 10 minute walk from your hotel. There are also two bus stops just outside the hotel. There is not a single mountain in Denmark, but there is a 170 meters high hill called Møllehøj. About 55% of Copenhagen residents ride their bicycle to and from work. The World Happiness Report 2013 by the Earth Institute of Columbia University ranked Copenhagen as the #1 happiest city in the world.
