Friday 20th March 2015 THANK YOU WE RAISED £138 Thank you for your support at the recent 2nd Hand Uniform Sale. We raised £138 which will be going towards for funding Creative Arts Week in May. We did have an excess of non logoed uniform which we have found difficult to sell and store. We have donated these to an orphanage in Kagando, South West Uganda. The boys trousers, girls skirts and pump shoes are heading there via container ship in May. There are over 100 children and babies cared for by an amazing pair of Ugandan sisters called Dorothy and Millie and local women. It is now a registered British charity supported by St Pauls Church Leamington Spa amongst others around the world. (please see the attached information) Please support the BSA Fundraising Activities by donating any good condition logoed Brookhurst Uniform to the school office. Upcoming events include a sponsored bounce in June and the Summer Fayre in July, further details to follow.
