RESEARCH ON POVERTY ALLEVIATION (REPOA) The Research on poverty Alleviation (REPOA) is a not-for- profit Non-Governmental Organisation registered in Tanzania in November, 1994. Its overall objective is to deepen the understanding of causes, extent, nature, rate of change and means of combating poverty in Tanzania. The specific objectives focus on development of local research capacity, development of poverty research network, enhancing stakeholders’ knowledge of poverty issues, contributing to policy and forging linkages between research(ers) and users.
