Çankiri Ili 2018 Yili Çevre Durum Raporu TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ ÇANKIRI VALİLİĞİ ÇEVRE VE ŞEHİRCİLİK İL MÜDÜRLÜĞÜ ÇANKIRI İLİ 2018 YILI ÇEVRE DURUM RAPORU HAZIRLAYAN: ÇANKIRI ÇEVRE VE ŞEHİRCİLİK İL MÜDÜRLÜĞÜ ÇANKIRI - 2019 i 2018 ÇANKIRI ÇEVRE DURUM RAPORU ÖNSÖZ Dünyayı saran küresel ısınmaya bağlı iklim değişiklikleri, hızlı nüfus artışları, bilinçsizce doğaya attığımız sanayi atıkları, petrol ve ilaç atıkları, plastik ürünler, sağlıksız kentleşme, hızlı ekonomik gelişme sonucu hava, su ve toprak kirliliği oluşmakta ve dünyanın tabi dengesi bozularak tüm insanlığın geleceğini ve doğal hayat tehdit edilmektedir. Despite the proximity of Sredna Gora Mountains to Sofia, the insect assemblages of this region are poorly studied. As a result of two studies carried out as a part of an Environmental Impact Assessment in the Natura 2000 Protected Areas: Sredna Gora and Popintsi, a rich diversity of insects was discovered, with 107 saproxylic and epigeobiont Coleoptera species and 355 Lepidoptera species recorded. This research was conducted during a short one-season field study in the surrounding areas of the town of Panagyurishte and Oborishte Village. Special attention was paid to protected species and their conservation status. Of the Coleoptera recorded, 22 species were of conservation significance. Forty-five Lepidoptera species of conservation importance were also recorded. KEY WORDS.WORDS. The undoubted highlights were the Marsican Brown Bears, which we were able to watch across the valley from the church at Gioia Vecchio. On the first occasion, we had excellent views of a mother with two well-grown cubs, and also two separate males. A couple of days later, we were able to watch one of the males again; on both occasions the sightings were for well over an hour, as the animals moved across the hillside, through the patchwork of meadow, scrub and trees, providing the photographers with some great digiscoping opportunities. Red deer and wild boar provided a supporting cast, as did the Abruzzo Chamois when we walked up the Valle di Rose.

Munis Entomology & Zoology, 11 (1): 96-104] ABSTRACT: Species of the genera Diorhabda Weise, 1883 and Radymna Reitter, 1913 in Turkey are reviewed and a complete checklist with provincial distributions is presented. Eight species are catalogued in total. Also the colour variations of Radymna fischeri (Faldermann, 1837) from Turkey are described and photographed. KEY WORDS: Radymna, Radymna fischeri, check-list, colour variations, Turkey. The genus Diorhabda was erected by Weise (1883) with the type species Galeruca elongata Brullé, 1832, by original designation. The genus Radymna was introduced by Reitter (1913) with the type species Diorhabda rickmersi Weise, 1900, by monotypy, formerly included in Diorhabda. After Beenen (2008), Radymna includes all former Diorhabda species except for only Diorhabda elongata and the related species (D. elongata species-group) that remain in the genus Diorhabda. D. elongata species-group was revised by Tracy & Robbins (2009). These species are D. carinata (Faldermann, 1837), D. carinulata (Desbrochers, 1870), D. elongata (Brullé, 1832), D. meridionalis Berti & Rapilly, 1973 and D. sublineata (Lucas, 1849). Also D. octocostata Gahan, 1896 is correctly classified in Diorhabda according to Beenen (2014).

  • Comparative Morphology of the Male Genitalia in Lepidoptera
COMPARATIVE MORPHOLOGY OF THE MALE GENITALIA IN LEPIDOPTERA. By DEV RAJ MEHTA, M. Sc.~ Ph. D. Introduction 197 Historical Review 199 Technique. 201 N ontenclature 201 Function • 205 Comparative Morphology 206 Conclusions in Phylogeny 257 Summary 261 Literature 1 262 INTRODUCTION. In the domains of both Morphology and Taxonomy the study' of Insect genitalia has evoked considerable interest during the past half century. Zander (1900, 1901, 1903) suggested a common structural plan for the genitalia in various orders of insects. This work stimulated further research and his conclusions were amplified by Crampton (1920) who homologized the different parts in the genitalia of Hymenoptera, Mecoptera, Neuroptera, Diptera, Trichoptera Lepidoptera, Hemiptera and Strepsiptera with those of more generalized insects like the Ephe meroptera and Thysanura. During this time the use of genitalic charac ters for taxonomic purposes was also realized particularly in cases where the other imaginal characters had failed to serve. In this con nection may be mentioned the work of Buchanan White (1876), Gosse (1883), Bethune Baker (1914), Pierce (1909, 1914, 1922) and others. Also, a comparative account of the genitalia, as a basis for the phylo genetic study of different insect orders, was employed by Walker (1919), Sharp and Muir (1912), Singh-Pruthi (1925) and Cole (1927), in Orthop tera, Coleoptera, Hemiptera and the Diptera respectively. It is sur prising, work of this nature having been found so useful in these groups, that an important order like the Lepidoptera should have escaped careful analysis at the hands of the morphologists.

  • Bugs & Beasties of the Western Rhodopes
Bugs and Beasties of the Western Rhodopes (a photoguide to some lesser-known species) by Chris Gibson and Judith Poyser [email protected] Yagodina At Honeyguide, we aim to help you experience the full range of wildlife in the places we visit. Generally we start with birds, flowers and butterflies, but we don’t ignore 'other invertebrates'. In the western Rhodopes they are just so abundant and diverse that they are one of the abiding features of the area. While simply experiencing this diversity is sufficient for some, as naturalists many of us want to know more, and in particular to be able to give names to what we see. Therein lies the problem: especially in eastern Europe, there are few books covering the invertebrates in any comprehensive way. Hence this photoguide – while in no way can this be considered an ‘eastern Chinery’, it at least provides a taster of the rich invertebrate fauna you may encounter, based on a couple of Honeyguide holidays we have led in the western Rhodopes during June. We stayed most of the time in a tight area around Yagodina, and almost anything we saw could reasonably be expected to be seen almost anywhere around there in the right habitat. Most of the photos were taken in 2014, with a few additional ones from 2012. While these creatures have found their way into the lists of the holiday reports, relatively few have been accompanied by photos. We have attempted to name the species depicted, using the available books and the vast resources of the internet, but in many cases it has not been possible to be definitive and the identifications should be treated as a ‘best fit’.

  • The Jumping Plant-Lice (Hemiptera: Psylloidea) of the Maltese Islands
BULLETIN OF THE ENTOMOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF MALTA (2020) Vol. 11 : 103–117 DOI: 10.17387/BULLENTSOCMALTA.2020.18 The jumping plant-lice (Hemiptera: Psylloidea) of the Maltese Islands David MIFSUD* ABSTRACT. Twenty-one species of jumping plant-lice accommodated in five different families are here recorded from the Maltese Islands in an annotated checklist. The Aphalaridae is represented by four species (Agonoscena targionii (Lichtenstein), Blastopsylla occidentalis Taylor, Colposcenia aliena (Löw) and Glycaspis brimblecombei Moore), of which two (B. occidentalis and G. brimblecombei) are alien species originating from Australia. The Homotomidae is represented by Homotoma ficus (Linnaeus) and Macrohomotoma gladiata Kuwayama, the latter being an alien species originating from the Far East. The Liviidae is represented by Euphyllura olivina (Costa), Diaphorina lycii Loginova and Psyllopsis fraxinicola (Foerster). The Psyllidae is represented by Acizzia uncatoides (Ferris & Klyver), Cacopsylla myrthi (Puton) and C. pyri (Linnaeus), of which Acizzia uncatoides is an alien species originating from Australia. Finally, the most species-rich family is the Triozidae, represented by nine species (Bactericera albiventris (Foerster), B. crithmi (Löw), B. trigonica Hodkinson, Heterotrioza chenopodii (Reuter), Lauritrioza alacris (Flor), Trioza centranthi (Vallot), T. galii Foerster, T. kiefferi Giard and T. urticae (Linnaeus)). For each of the above species, collection data, distribution, host- plant data and other relevant information is provided. Lycium intricatum Boiss. is a new host-plant record for Diaphorina lycii, and Rhamnus lycioides subsp. oleoides (L.) Jahand. & Maire is a new host-plant record for Cacopsylla myrthi. A host- plant shift is documented for Bactericera crithmi, which alternates between Ferula melitensis Brullo et al. in winter and Crithmum maritimum L.
