Commercial proposition of Joint Stock Company «Kherson Shipyard»

For 10 years JSC Kherson Shipyard has been successfully cooperating with leading European companies such as Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica S.A. (Spain) and Vestas Wind Sistems (Denmark) in different fields: wind power generation, metal-roll working, gentle and bent details, feedwells manufacturing etc. The production capacity of the details makes 8 – 10 thousands tons per month, i.e. Kherson plant takes the leading position in this field in whole Ukraine.

Facilities of the shipyard allow the following works: 1. correction, refining up to SA-2,5 level acc. to European Standards, and priming of 15 – 22 micron thick as well as metal-roll drying; 2. cutting of metal sheets with dimensions up to 3,200 x 16,000 mm, and 3 – 50 mm wide with plasma- and gas cutting machines; 3. bending of details from all types and forms of metal sheets, incl. complicated bending according to patterns and frames; profiled iron details bending; 4. erection and welding of sections and blocks of all types both flat and three-dimensional; 5. metal-roll mechanical processing, incl. lathe- and drilling works.

Port facilities of the Shipyard allow 24-hour transshipment of different types of loads, incl. outsize cargos and those, transported by water-, railroad- and highway facilities. The port terminal 365 m long is equipped with two portal cranes (100/16 tons cargo capacity each), and one crane 10 tons cargo capacity. It allows serving ships with maximal length 200 m and water draft up to 7.4 m. Railroads joining the port terminal allow 100 wagons. The terminal is equipped with outdoor storage area (19,000 sq. m) and covered storehouses area (1,700 sq. m).
