‘LOVE ON ICELAND’ Cast Bios

KAITLIN DOUBLEDAY (Chloe) – achieved an early start to her thespian career after being discovered in a high school musical in . At age 17, she made her film debut opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in Steven Spielberg’s Catch Me If You Can.

After graduating from high school, she studied acting at HB Studios in New York and has continued to work steadily in both TV and film. Her other big screen credits include the cult classic Waiting opposite Ryan Reynolds and Anna Farris, The TV Set, a satire about the entertainment business starring David Duchovny for director Jake Kasden, and Accepted, opposite Jonah Hill and Justin Long.

On the small screen she was a series regular on Fox’s record-breaking, critically acclaimed drama, “.” She played Rhonda Lyon, married to . Doubleday was most recently a series regular on the popular country music drama, “Nashville” playing single mom Jessie Caine. She also starred in the Hallmark Channel original “Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays,” which premiered in November 2019.

Doubleday has an adventurous spirit and has backpacked through India, Thailand, and Peru. A passionate yoga practitioner, she is equally devoted to animal rescue and volunteers at NKLA (No Kill LA). Doubleday lives in Los Angeles with her husband, DJ Devin Lucien, and son Franklin and with their rescued animals: cats Leyla and June and dogs Ricky and Pony.

COLIN DONNELL (Charlie) — recently starred as Russell Hammond in the musical adaptation of Cameron Crowe’s acclaimed Almost Famous at The Old Globe.

He is also known for his work as Dr. Connor Rhodes, a Trauma Surgery Fellow who is brilliant, buttoned-down and trained to handle anything that might come through the hospital doors, in NBC’s drama “.”

Donnell can also be seen as Tommy Merlyn in The CW’s “.” Other appearances include Scott Lockhart in Showtime’s hit series “The Affair,” “Pan Am,” “Person of Interest” and “The Mysteries of Laura.” He made his big-screen debut in 2014 with Every Secret Thing, which also starred Diane Lane and Elizabeth Banks.

He is well-known for his work on stage, with Broadway roles that include Violet, , which garnered him Drama Desk, Outer Critics and Astaire nominations, and . Among his other notable stage appearances are , Merrily We Roll Along and Lady Be Good at the Center, the Public Theater’s Shakespeare in the Park production of Love’s Labour’s Lost and Meet Me in St. Louis. PATTI MURIN (Isabella) — is an accomplished stage and television actress. Known for her acclaimed Broadway performances, Murin currently stars as Anna in the Broadway production of Disney’s . With lyrics written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Frozen is the timeless tale of a fearless princess who sets off on a journey alongside a rugged iceman, his loyal pet reindeer, and a naive snowman to find her estranged sister.

Murin made her Broadway debut in 2007’s , in which she played the roles of Euterpe, Siren, and Thetis. Based on the film of the same name, Xanadu centers on a Greek muse who is sent to Earth to inspire Californians during the 1980s. Four years later, Murin played the lead of in 2011’s Lysistrata Jones, a modern-day adaptation of Aristophanes’ Lysistrata. Soon after, Murin starred as Glinda in the national tour of Broadway’s renowned play Wicked.

In addition to her performances on Broadway, Patti Murin has also starred in a wide range of off-Broadway theatrical productions. Most recently, Murin starred as Linda Mason in The Muny’s and Susie in Lady, Be Good. At The Muny, she has also starred as Roxie Hart in Chicago and Ariel in The Little Mermaid. In New York, Murin starred as Princess in The Public Theater’s production of Love’s Labour’s Lost. She also played the role of Amber in The Cape Playhouse’s production of Hairspray and Sharpay Evans in The Atlanta Theater of the Stars’ production of High School Musical. On television, Murin has starred as recurring character Dr. Nina Shore in NBC’s “Chicago Med,” a medical drama set in the ER department of Chicago’s Gaffney Medical Center. She has also starred as Ana in USA’s “Royal Pains.” Additionally, Murin played the recurring role of Ellen on ABC’s “All My Children.”

Murin was seen starring alongside Melissa Claire Egan and Marc Blucas in “Holiday for Heroes,” which debuted in November 2019 on Hallmark’s Movies & Mysteries.

Murin has also sung the national anthem at numerous sporting events, including a New York Mets game, Philadelphia Soul Football, and an event at Syracuse University.
