Gluten free is for sale at Natural Grocers (plain or onion flavor). Target’s annual stocking of supplies is housed this year near the electronics department. They are selling egg and whole wheat matzo, as well as other “seasonal” items. Wine Happy Harrys often has Manischewitz Passover wines if that is to your taste (supply unconfirmed for this year, though their staff is always happy to answer questions). They also carry Bartenura, which may or may not bear a Pesachdig hechsher, depending on their stock rotation. Stock is often similar at Gateway drive location. Grape Juice Grape juice with a hechsher (Kedem) is often available at Target (both in holiday supply and regular kosher aisle), Walmart on Gateway stocks this as well. If you’ve different preferences, Sam’s Club usually stocks 2 packs of regular grape juice. Other Supplies/Miscellaneous Target in Grand Forks generally has your best selection of Passover grocery items, this year, the kiosk was spotted near the electronics department; the general aisle with kosher items often has a few things that are also kosher for Passover (ex: matzo ball soup mix. Gateway Walmart also has a few things that may be marked for Pesach, no separate section. You will not find any specific kosher area at the Walmart on 32nd Avenue. Prepared red (beet) horseradish (as is a B’nai Israel favorite) has not been seen in-town for several years now. If you’re making your own horseradish, fresh horseradish root may be available at Hugo’s in East Grand Forks (as found after an extensive hunt in 2019). Cranberry horseradish is an alternative used by some Grand Forks folks, this is also in short supply during pandemic, but occasionally found at Hugo’s on 32nd, which also occasionally has packaged latke and matzo ball soup mix in the regular aisles. Online Shopping: Folks have found affordable Passover pantry, tableware, Judaica and ritual items on Amazon.com, Walmart.com and OhNuts.com. Grow & Behold has made shipments of kosher meat in previous years. .
