IV. Executive Summary:

Surallah is a first class municipality located in the Upper Valley of the South-western part of South Cotabato with an area of 31,100 hectares. It has 17 barangays and a population of 76, 035 based on NSO Official survey in 2010. It sits on the strategic transportation network junction which serves as converging points of surrounding 5 municipalities. It is a fast growing municipality and is a mere 20 kilometers away from the capital city of . It is the 18th biggest municipality in and the 6th in the province, based on its urban area.

Aside from organic, biodynamic farming and alternative medicines which captivate thousands of visitors coming from various places of the country, Surallah abounds in many resources and organically grows raw and processed products which are potential ingredients for culinary tourism. However, these remain largely undeveloped.

The proposed project, The Emily’s Green Park Resort will promote agri-tourism consciousness among target markets and will offer a unique and complete recipe that will provide a memorable experience for locals and tourist alike.

V. Project Description: Emily’s Green Park Resort is located in Sitio Sta. Rita, Brgy. Centrala which is 9 kilometers from the of Surallah and a 30-minute ride traversing the provincial road going to the Municipality of T’boli. It has an area of 8.6 hectares ideal for organic farming, fishing, swimming, meetings, relaxation, picnics, and adventure. The place is endowed with a cool climate, serene atmosphere, and good soil. Springs abound in the area, providing an inexhaustible source of abundant water supply.
