Após uma análise global dos resultados desse estudo, foram então definidos planos de ordenamento a curto, médio e longo prazo. Mas quais são esses planos de médio e longo prazo? Assim sendo, em meados do corrente ano, as Obras Públicas incumbiram duas instituições de ensino superior do Interior da China de efectuarem estudos, de forma autónoma, sobre o “projecto urbano da orla marítima do Porto Interior”, a fim de poderem, a partir de várias propostas, procurar soluções para o ordenamento futuro daquela zona. Mais, face ao adiamento, ao longo dos anos, da tomada de decisões por parte dos serviços responsáveis, isto é, realização de estudos atrás de estudos, para trás e para a frente, muitos residentes questionam o seguinte: quanto aos trabalhos relativos à resolução do problema das inundações do Porto Interior, será que o Governo sofre da doença dos “estudos”? Nas épocas de tufões, chuvas torrenciais e maré astronómica, ocorrem inevitavelmente situações de intrusão da água do mar e inundações na zona do Porto Interior, transformando as ruas em rios, o que paralisa o trânsito, causa prejuízos materiais e influencia gravemente as deslocações, o negócio e a vida dos residentes.
