The estimated construction cost is about 1,079.5 mil. USD (32,380 mil. Baht). Asian Highways in Thailand AH2: Sa Dao-Hat Yai-Bangkok-Chiang Rai- Tachilek: 1913.5 Km 1. The Intercity Motorway project along the National Highway Rt.5 from Bang Pa-In to Nakhon Sawan is under the EIA approval process. The estimated 1 construction cost is about 1,079.5 mil. USD (32,380 mil. Baht). 2 2. For the Intercity Motorway project along the National Highway Rt.8 between Nakhon Pathom - Samut Songkhram – Cha-Am, the EIA study was completed. The estimated construction cost is about 1,276.5 mil. USD (38,290 mil. Baht). Asian Highways in Thailand AH3: Chiang Kong -Chaing Rai: 121 Km 1. The Chiang Khong/HouayxayKhong/Houayxay Bridge Project with the length of 11.6 km. including 480-m bridge length is under construction. Thailand and PRC are sharing half of the construction cost about 50 mil. USD (1,486 mil.Baht). It has 97.50% in progress of work. 2. The Chiang Rai–Chiang Khong Highway Widening Projects, two sections of the AH 3 along the National Highway Rt.1152 and Rt.1020 are under widening to 4-lane highway. For the first 11.1-km section , the project was completed with the construction cost of 11 mil. USD (320 mil. Baht). For the second section of 18.9 km., the project was completed with the construction cost of 22 mil. USD (664 mil. Baht). 3. About 75 km. of the AH 3 along the National Highway Rt.1152 and Rt.1020, the feasibility studies was done. Further improvement is to be allocated in the Thai Government 2 tril. Baht Loan Program. Asian Highways in Thailand AH12:Nong Khai-Udon Thani-Nakhon Ratchasima-Hin Kong: 571.3 Km The Intercity Motorway project along the National Highway Rt.6 between Bang Pa- In - Saraburi - Nakhon Ratchasima (196 km.) is under process to issue the royal decree on land acquisition. The estimated construction cost is about 2,800 mil. USD (84,000 mil. Baht) which is to be allocated in the Thai Government 2 tril. Baht Loan Program. Asian Highways in Thailand AH15: Nakhon Phanom-Udon Thani : 249 Km For the Nakhon Phanom/Khammouane bridge project on the National Highway Rt.22 in Nakhon Phanom with the length of 5.2 km., including 780-m bridge length, this project was completed. The estimated construction cost is at 57.5 mil. USD (1,724 mil. Baht). Opening ceremony was on November 11th, 2011. Asian Highways in Thailand AH16: Tak- Khon Kaen-Mukhdahan: 703 Km 1. For the Phitsanulok-Lom Sak Highway 1 Widening Project, the AH16 along the National Highway Rt.12, is under widening to 4-lane 2 highway for 105 km. at the estimated construction cost of about 111 mil. USD (3,340 mil. Baht). This construction cost comprises half of the Thailand government budget and the other half from the ADB loan. The project is currently under construction process. 2. The Nong Rua – A. Chum Phae – A. Khon San Section 2 Highway Widening Project, two parts of the AH 16 along the National Highway Rt.12, are under widening to 4-lane highway. The first 16.5-km part was completed with the construction cost of about 18.5 mil. USD (555 mil. Baht) was completed. The second part of 9.8 km. was completed with the construction cost of about 8.5 mil. USD (253mil. Baht). Asian Highways in Thailand AH19: Bangkok-Laem Chabang-Kabin Buri- Nakhon Ratchasima: 364 Km 1. The 4-lane highway widening project on the National Highway Rt. 331 from Plaeng Yao to Pattaya with length of 39.4 km., is allocated in 2 tril. Baht Loan Program. The estimated construction cost is about 33 mil. USD (988 mil. Baht). 2. The Intercity Motorway project along the 1 National Highway Rt.7 from Pattaya to Map Ta 2 Phut, is allocated in 2 tril. Baht Loan Program. The estimated construction cost is 533 mil. USD (16,000 mil. Baht) with land acquisition cost of 60 mil. USD (1,800 Baht), .
