Photo submitted by Sis. JOANN KRANCE (729). A Good Spring Cleaning in Yukon, Pa. The members of SNPJ Lodge 729 organized the fourth annual Yukon Cleanup on April 21. The effort was a huge success. Lodge 729 members were joined this year by the Yukon Fire Department, who also had a squad truck going through town distributing drinking water and extra bags. The Yukon Lions Club was also represented, as were Yukon Market and MAX Environmental. The event was registered with The Great American Clean Up of Pennsylvania, and trash bags, reflective vests and gloves were provided by PennDot. After the clean up we enjoyed pizza from Highway Pizza and BBQ in Yukon, along with salad and refreshments, all of which was provided by Lodge 729. The group collected over 170 bags of garbage and 49 tires that MAX Environmental disposed of. It was a great tribute to our town of Yukon.
