Annual Meeting 2016 Marcopolo & PANDA Annual Meeting 2016 MarcoPolo & PANDA The joint PANDA/MarcoPolo General Assembly is taking place 24-27 February 2016 in Guangzhou, China and will be hosted by Sun Yat-sen University (http://eeswxm.sysu.edu.cn/ ). Please note that the meeting is taking place at the Building of Dihuan in Sun Yat-sen University. 1. MEETING VENUE: Building of Dihuan School of Environmental Science and Engineering Sun Yat-sen University (South Campus) Xingang west road 135, Guangzhou http://sese.sysu.edu.cn/Index.htm The location of Dihuan Building and hotels are in the following photo. 2. Transportation 1) Arrive Guangzhou Baiyun airport. The Building of Start Dihuan can be reached as following paths : By Metro: Take line 3 (North stretching line)at Ji Chang Nan station, and then interchange to line 3 at Tiyu Xilu station, and then interchange to line 8 at Kecun station, and then arrive at Sun Yat-sen University station. Exit the metro at Entrance A, and Interchange then turn left and go straight, walk for about 330 m and you will find the South Gate of Sun Yat-sen University on your End Interchange left. Walk into the gate and go straight, walk for about 1100 m, and the Building of Dihuan is on your right (near the North Gate of Sun Yat-sen University). Price: RMB 8 Duration: About 70 minutes By Taxi: Take the taxi at A5 gate in the airport if you arrive at A area and take the taxi at B6 gate in the airport if you arrive at B area. The destination is the North Gate of Sun Yat-sen University. After getting off the taxi, walk into the North Gate of Sun Yat-sen University and go straight, walk for about 150 m, and then the Building of Dihuan is on your left. Price: About RMB 150 Duration: About 50 minutes By Airport bus: Get on the Line 10 of Airport bus at B5gate or A1, and get off the bus at the New Pearl River Hotel. Take taxi (in 10 min) or walk west forward for about 950 m and you will the find the memorial archway of Sun Yat-sen University, and the North Gate of Sun Yat-sen University is located nearby. Walk into the gate and go straight, walk for about 150 m, and then the Building of Dihuan is on your left. Price: RMB 23 Duration: About 60 minutes 2) Arrive Hong Kong International airport: Arrive at Hong Kong International Airport, you can book the ticket in advance to Guangzhou-Haizhu on the Website of Hong Kong International Airport. ( http://www.hongkongairport.com/CBT/Controller?locale=eng ) And then you can take a taxi to the North Gate of Sun Yat-sen University, then proceed as above. Price: HK 250 Duration: About 240 minutes 3.     PREFACE Welcome to the 126th session of China Import and Export Fair (hereinafter referred to as the Canton Fair). Since its 101st session in April 2007, the Canton Fair has established an International Pavilion specially tailored for overseas exhibitors. The International Pavilion of Canton Fair will be held in two phases, i.e. Phase 1 and Phase 3 in the 126th session as per exhibit categories. Phase 1 will be held in Hall 9.3 in Area B and Hall 5.2 in Area A of the Canton Fair Complex respectively from Oct. 15-19, 2019, with a total exhibition area of 13,000 square meters. Exhibits will be displayed as per exhibit classification in 3 sub-sections which include Electronics and Electrical Household Appliance, Building Material and Hardware, Machinery Equipment. Phase 3 will be held in Hall 11.2 in Area B and Hall 15.1 in Area C of the Canton Fair Complex from Oct. 31- Nov. 4, 2019, with a total exhibition area of 7,000 square meters. Food & Drink and Household Items will be exhibited in Hall 11.2 in Area B, and Fabrics and Home Textiles will be in Hall 15.1 in Area C respectively. In this session, Baby and Kid Products and Daily Chemical Products will be displayed in the section of Household Items. Being developed for over 62 years, the Canton Fair has already grown to be a mature trade fair which maintains about 200,000 loyal overseas buyers.
