Hi everyone, Well it’s that time of year again when we reflect on yet another year about to end. It seems like only yesterday that I was writing the article for last years Christmas inSYnc issue. My, how the years go by. With mother nature again dishing up some interesting periods like Hurricane Sandy, it makes us realise how lucky we are to enjoy ourselves regularly out on the water. Twilights have had a very consistent year with 12- 15 boats out most weeks. The interesting part is, it’s never the same 12!! It seems every week it’s a different mix of boats turning up on the start line. If everyone turned up on the one night we’d have a traffic jam on the start line. Bring it on, it sounds like fun. I personally have had a very busy 2012 and I’d like to really thank a few people for the help they’ve given Keel boats this year and the massive help they’ve been to me. Kelvin Holdt, you and I have our debates but I want you to know how much I appreciate what you do, thanks mate. Bronwen Ince, whenever I need something done in the office you seem to have it done before I finish asking. Drew Jones, Drew is my back up man when I get very busy. Thanks for everything mate. Finally, to each and everyone of our great twilight sailors and SYC staff, you make what we do fun, it wouldn’t be the same without each and everyone of you. Have a great Christmas, a very merry New Year, enjoy the time with your family and close friends. Be safe and remember - “Life’s too short to not go sailing!!” See you all next year. Cheers, Ray.
