Enjoy the Ride! Barbara and Don (BA ’66) Blackburn have shared 55 amazing years together, raising their children, enjoying their grandchildren and building successful careers in places like Washington, D.C., and Providence, Rhode Island. They even have a prized Harley- Davidson that’s carried them down life’s highways. For the Blackburns, the road led back home to Tulsa after they retired in 2000. Recently, they became members of the CHAPMAN LEGACY SOCIETY by establishing a scholarship endowment through a planned gift. “We want to give back to the right places,” said Don Blackburn. “TU is a wonderful school. It opened many doors for us, and our good fortune and careful planning eventually will benefit future generations.” What will your legacy be?
