How can I get to the Bronx ? The Bronx is bordered by Yonkers and The Bronx is divided by the Westchester. Hudson and East River. Parts of Queens like Whitestone are closer to District 8 then other parts of Bronx. The west Bronx begins on 225th Street (District 10). The south Bronx begins 138th street. Bronx is accessible by: Bus , Railroad (Metro North), Subway and Car. Bronx Districts Work & Life in District 7: South Bronx: Mott Haven & Melrose • District 7 begins right above Harlem. Most schools are on the 4/5/6 train lines with some being on the 2/5.
