APRIL 30, 2017 •30 DE ABRIL, 2017 • PAGE 3 4 NEWS and UPCOMING EVENTS Requesting Communion for the Sick and Homebound If you or a family member are homebound, or in a retirement, nursing or rehab facility, and in need of receiving communion, please contact the Parish Office at 501-327-6568 to request a visit from a Special Eucharistic Minister to the Sick. Since the two hospitals in Conway provide a list of patients who register as Catholic, if you are in the hospital, it is not necessary to notify the office to request communion. However, if you are in need of a priest’s visit to the hospital, you should call the office. There are Eucharistic Ministers assigned to each of the hospitals and nursing facilities in the county as well as a number of Ministers who visit in the home. Typically, visits are made weekly except at Conway Regional where they are visited daily and the new Baptist Hospital which is currently visited 4 days a week. Please help us spread the word to those who may not have access to a church bulletin because they are homebound or in some other living facility. St. Joseph’s Church wants every Catholic in Faulkner County to know that in the Eucharist is still available to you if you are not able to attend Mass.
