TM – A TRADEMARK OF ALLINA HEALTH SYSTEM. ALLINA HOSPITALS & CLINICS What do you need to know before purchasing your uniform? Allina Health strives to offer many uniform options to employees, while ensuring that all staff present a consistently professional appearance. Why? Because first impressions are critical in helping build patients’ confidence and trust in a caregiver’s ability to deliver exceptional patient care. Please be aware of the following requirements before purchasing your uniforms: 1. First, talk to your hiring supervisor to accurately identify your uniform color. Refer to the color chart to understand the approved colors for your role. 2. Your scrubs must be an exact match to the designated color. View a list of brands and color names that match the Allina Health color palette on allinahealth.org site for new hires. 3. Scrub tops and bottoms must be solid in color. No patterns, alternate colored piping or lace, etc., are permitted. 4. As optional attire for warmth, staff who wear scrubs may wear undershirts or scrub jackets in their role’s designated color. Those who wear polo shirts may wear undershirts or a black sweater. - Acceptable shirts include long-sleeve, short-sleeve, v-neck, crew neck and turtle-neck shirts. - Any solid color shirt may be worn underneath the uniforms, provided the colors are non- contrasting and reasonably neutral. Recommended colors include white, cream, black, gray, light pink, light blue or an exact match to the uniform top. - No patterns for undershirts or scrub jackets are permitted. - Scrub jackets must be an exact match to the designated uniform color. - If an employee chooses to wear a scrub jacket over any color undershirt, they must keep the jacket on and closed. If employees frequently take their scrub jacket off throughout the day, they must wear a scrub top in their designated color beneath the scrub jacket. - Fleece, sweatshirts, hoodies and other non-scrub jackets are not permitted. .
