Cooper, Anderson (b. 1967) by Linda Rapp Encyclopedia Copyright © 2015, glbtq, Inc. Anderson Cooper. Entry Copyright © 2012 glbtq, Inc. Photograph by Flickr Reprinted from http://www.glbtq.com user minds-eye. CC-BY- SA 2.0. Award-winning television journalist Anderson Cooper has traveled the globe, reporting from war zones and scenes of natural and man-made disasters, as well as covering stories on political and social issues. Cooper is a ubiquitous presence on American television, for in addition to being a news anchor, he also hosts a talk show. Cooper is the son of heiress and designer Gloria Vanderbilt and her fourth husband, Wyatt Cooper. In his memoir, Dispatches from the Edge (2006), Cooper stated that his parents' "backgrounds could not have been more different." Whereas his mother descends from one of American best-known and wealthiest families, his father was born into a poor farm family in the small town of Quitman, Mississippi. When he was sixteen he moved to the Ninth Ward of New Orleans with his mother and five of his seven siblings. Anderson Cooper wrote that his "father fell in love with New Orleans from the start" and delighted in its culture. After graduating from Francis T. Nicholls High School, however, Wyatt Cooper headed to California to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. Although he found work on both screen and stage, he eventually turned to screenwriting for Twentieth Century Fox. Wyatt Cooper and Vanderbilt married in 1964 and took up residence in a luxurious mansion in New York City. The couple had two sons, Carter, born in 1965, and Anderson, born on June 3, 1967. -

Letter to the 9-11 Commission
National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States 301 7th Street, SW Room 5125 Washington, DC 20407 July 17, 2003 Dear Members of the 9-11 Commission: Recently, I wrote to you about Terrorist Missile Activity in the NY – Washington metropolitan areas. A copy of this correspondence is attached at the end of this letter. In that earlier correspondence I suggested that you reexamine missile activity which was reported both prior to and following the TWA 800 crash. On this anniversary of the TWA crash I would like to submit for your consideration a detailed summary of the eyewitnesses’ statements to the FBI, NTSB and other investigative agencies and media. These statements refute the government’s conclusion that the initiating event for the TWA 800 crash was an explosion of the center wing fuel tank. For example, you will find in the reports below the testimony of several pilots who flew over the smoke cloud from the center wing fuel tank detonation. TWA 800 was flying at just over 13,000 feet when the initiating incident leading to its destruction occurred. The center wing tank subsequently exploded (and generated a smoke cloud) at several thousand feet below 13,000 feet while TWA 800 was already on its way down to the ocean. In the discussion below I have interspersed items from newspaper articles, my own comments, and references to each of the eyewitness descriptions. August 25, 1996 Times of London U.S. officials are investigating reports that Islamic terrorists have smuggled Stinger ground-to-air missiles into the United States from Pakistan. -
Closet Androgynes Are Redefining Our Insane Society
Closet Androgynes are Redefining Our Insane Society by Jeremy James As previous papers in this series have shown, androgyny – the blending or suppression of sexual characteristics – is a major aspect of the New World Order agenda. The clear Biblical distinction between male and female is being deliberately blurred by the big media corporations. Movies, television, radio, magazines, and popular music have all been primed to present a gender-neutral, androgynous, or multi-gender message, where one's sexual identity is grounded, not in biology, but in social, cultural and personal values. This is part of a deliberate program to disrupt the natural development of gender- related emotions and behaviors in young people. Stories, messages and images – which would formerly have projected a clear distinction between male and female actors – are now laden with ambiguity. The natural development of our children is under attack. Satan hates your kids, just as he hates you. Today he has a new and powerful tool at his disposal, a co-ordinated international media machine which, in the face of only token parental control, has direct access to our children. The influence exerted by this monster is quite astonishing. Our children are being exposed to images and ideas that are more complex, more intense, and more extreme than anything known by our own generation. As a result they are learning values and forming opinions which have no immediate connection with the world around them. Their understanding of reality is being reshaped, not through personal experience and parental guidance, but through a system of programmed normality . 1 We saw a chilling example of this in May, 2015, when the people of Ireland voted overwhelmingly to amend the Constitution to include same-sex couples within its definition of marriage. -
